This Mount Lawley dessert restaurant and bar shows off style, flavour and character in perfectly equal Measure. Allow us to break it down. Measure displays style in the way its fine desserts are presented on the plate, flavour in the way that every bite of sweet (or savoury) goodness is one you’ll remember and character – so much character – in the way the industrial-style space looks and feels. Whether you’re eating or drinking, Measure is a winner. You’ll find it in Mount Lawley – one of the hottest suburbs of Perth for food and drink – right on Beaufort Street. It’s definitely wise to head there armed with a reservation.

We can’t think off too many other places in Mount Lawley, heck, maybe even in Perth, that match up delectable dessert creations and expertly-made cocktails in the same way that Measure does. Measure is, quite simply, unique. Desserts can be ordered individually or, if your teeth are feeling particularly sweet, why not opt for the three-course dessert tasting menu? We absolutely guarantee a smile will be brought to your face, particularly when you take into consideration the impressive selection of cocktails which are classic, expertly put together and always, of course, perfectly measured.
To give you a taste of the kind of desserts you can expect from Measure’s menu, the peanut caramel popcorn is a very popular dish consisting of peanut bavarois, a brownie base, caramel popcorn, popcorn gelato, brulee banana, salted caramel powder and a dark chocolate ganache. The black sesame is another favourite loved by Mount Lawley and involves black sesame cremeux and dacquoise, mandarin gel, white chocolate rice crispies, mandarin sorbet and sesame nougatine. As you can see just from these two dishes, Measure is not your standard. Far from it, in fact. Here you’ll find only fine and exquisite desserts that far surpass what you may be used to. Be sure to make a reservation at this gem of Mount Lawley way in advance.
Delicious. It was a nice environment. We had a great time and would definately recommend it to friends and family. The staff were amazing too. Thanks for the experience.
Dessert was amazing and the service was excellent. I had the black sesame. Would like to come back and try some of the other desserts.
Measure offers fabulous food, and really friendly and welcoming staff. A great way to finish off a night with friends. No queue on a Tuesday night, and very prompt service
The desserts were good. We ordered three just because our eyes were bigger than our stomachs and we had a hard time picking our favourites. Service was excellent and there was nothing to fault.
We went on a Sunday afternoon. The menu was limited but we did enjoy the food. We have the Yuzu brûlée, lemon thyme, 55% dark hot chocolate and the green tea. The Yuzu is full of favor and the matcha gelato is nice but not as impressive. The lemon curd gelato is very enjoyable. Service was good and everyone is so friendly.
Had a beautiful time at Measure - wonderful food in both savoury and sweet varieties and yummy cocktails, attentive service, and warm ambiance. Will be back for sure!
Although the restaurant was mostly empty, me and my friend were seated right next to a large group of loud and noisy women, which made it difficult for us to hear eachother talking. Other than that, the food and service was perfect.
Underwhelming. Friendly staff and decent desserts but didn't really live up to the hype. Even the decor was a bit too minimalistic. For a specialised dessert bar I would have expected more selection and better desserts. The espresso martini was fantastic though.
Terrific service & great desserts :-) This is a very nice little place and would recommend it. The staff are very knowlegable & friendly. The restaurant has a good vibe & set up.
Very lovely and relaxed atmosphere, clean and not to cramp. Staff are friendly and desserts are delightful. On the pricier end but definitely worth the experience.
