The name Ming once struck fear into the hearts of mediaeval Chinese peasants and 1980s sci-fi fans alike, but if you’re in the centre of Perth, then you know far better than the King of the Impossible, the Dynastic rulers of China and the makers of vases alike. In Northbridge, Ming’s means great Chinese food at Ming’s BBQ House on William Street. They offer a menu packed with meaty favourites and seafood specialities. Let us talk you through a few of them: the Chinese standards of prawn crackers, spring rolls, fried wontons and fish balls to start, followed by fried rice, Hong Kong style noodles, Sichuan pork, stir-fries of vegetables, poultry and prawn and noodle soups. You can reach Ming’s BBQ House easily from all over Perth – they’re right by McIver station and Perth Underground – and are perfect for a pre or post match meal after a game at Nib Stadium: book a table now and bring all your mates for a proper Chinese feed in Northbridge.

Good value lunch specials. Nice modern decor and services was quick.
It was Father’s Day, and thankfully the restaurant wasn’t crowded. We had the 2 course Peking duck set which was average, standard has dropped from February when we last visited.
We had the 2 course Peking duck set and it was good. Only thing the duck noodles doesn’t come with a duck leg anymore.
