Returning holiday-makers and stalwart locals can’t get enough of Namaste Indian Cuisine in Jindabyne, a restaurant known for authentic Indian dining and an ever-popular go-to for ski crowds, drawn by the promise of a heart-warming curry after a day on the slopes. The Jindabyne location is one of three outlets of Namaste – the other two are located in Sydney and Young – and it is found right in the town centre on Kosciuszko Road, close to Banjo Patterson Park. You’ll find all your favourite dishes here from butter chicken and lamb rogan josh to panjim fish curry and tandoori prawns. For the vegetarians there’s a bounty of great options – try the aloo gobi, the dal tadka or the palak paneer if you’re up for a meat-free feast. Because you’re unlikely to be the only one with the idea, we highly recommend booking ahead for Namaste – especially during busy holiday periods!
The food was excellent food. Very good value for money and a very good selection of dishes. Friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely eat there again!
The cuisine is always tasty and the staff always pleasant. An enjoyable experience for all three of us visiting for the night and we live locally.
Friendly attentive staff and good nosh, there's a reason why it's so popular. Though senior and being a customer, would prefer not to be perpetually addressed as the gender-specific guys"
Really good quality food. Nice menu. Friendly service, decent atmosphere. BYO available. Upstairs access. Bookings essential in winter as it gets really busy in town.
