We love going to Okami restaurants and the food and value are excellent. My brother and sister-in-law joined us this time and they also thoroughly enjoyed it saying they too will be back. Thank you 😊

The food is always delicious, if it comes out that is. We were a party of 7 and my youngest son did no receive his meal. it was a simple and plain order. Chicken katsu withholding the sauce and steamed rice. It became very upsetting for our son, so we left. We won't be returning to Chelsea Heights Okami and will stick to Cranbourne. Very disappointing. The service was awful.

we love it here and the kids can experience lots of different foods. The atmosphere can be a bit cold, but the food is fantastic and service is generally pretty quick.

We had a table of approx. 20 people behind us & it was very noisy.

The food took very long to came out, despite reminding the staff multiple times that we were still waiting. The staff wasnt friendly, they kept denying us from ordering food even after we expressed that what we ordered an hour ago still hasn’t come and they showed an “annoyed” expression every time we flipped the “service” card. Towards the end, there was a certain staff member (young girl with make up, brown hair, tied by a clip, about 5”8, normal build), that was rude. My mum said “excuse me, may we please order such and such” and the girl walked past, deliberately ignored my mum and then turned her head, smiled and laughed at her. We all saw this and were in shock. The same girl half way through our experience began cleaning a section of Okami which was behind us. We have nothing against that but when you use chlorine based products it will interfere with our meals as that was all we could smell from then on. This is not how you treat your customers. None of the staff had smiles on their faces and looked like they were in a rush to go home. We always go to Okami for every single family’s birthday, but we all agreed this was the last time.

A pleasant first time visit . Prompt service, good food and lovely staff

After ordering for the first time and eating all of the food served, we then attempted to order a second round. The waiter was quite abrupt & rude and pointed out that any food wastage would be charged at the end and would not let us order more that 4 small dishes even though there was 5 of us. We knew of the food wastage clause already as it is clearly stated so we were quietly miffed. After then ordering a third & fourth round (of which at one point we sat for 20-25 mins with no food on the table after not having had very much delivered to us at the start), all of our dishes were completely eaten with nothing left. As we walked out we noticed another table where the patrons had already left but their plates not cleared yet and this table had many plates half full of food still sitting there, clearly well over 200g wastage. So obviously they were not charged for wastage and we wondered why we had been rudely alerted to their terms. Wasn't a pleasant experience in the end and it left a sour note for my daughter's 14th birthday.

It was a lovely meal, beef udon stir fry was the best dish of the night, we appreciated that they prepared a vegetable tempura ( no prawns) unfortunately it was a pretty doughy batter and not light and crispy as tempura should be. Other than that it was a great meal.

Took visitors for their first ever Japanese meal and they loved it. Polite staff greeted us on arrival, food came out quickly and so fresh and tasty. We highly recommend the Chelsea Heights venue as we love the decor too.

Food was OK at best, steak dishes were overcooked meaning meat was tough. Two orders were never received at all, waitress couldn’t explain why. Table wasn’t properly cleaned on arrival. Edging on table top was held on with sticky tape. First time, last time experience

Everything was perfect. My only issue was I brought a bottle of sparkling wine and we received food quite sometime before receiving a glass to pour my drink.

Was quickly seated and they acknowledged my request when we booked as to seating position. Took a long time to get first order through although we figured it may be because we were waiting for 2 others to arrive. Food delicious and were quite good bringing out large orders of food. They did forget our last order before dinner and it would have been better if they suggested multiples of food considering there were 9 of us. Mixed Drinks affordable too; however red wine a little pricey for quality. Should look at a better quality sparkling as only had Yellowglen. Took a while for empty plates to be cleared so we had them stacked up all over the table. I guess I would say Cheap & Cheerful family restaurant. I will go back in the future but maybe inform everyone the best way to order prior so we are not all waiting so long between plates.

This would have to be one the best Okami restaurants purely as they're organised function smoothly and service and food are always fresh and plentiful. Never disappoints, just a few small changes to their dish servings, but that's understandable in today's changing economics.

It was great! Dads got to wear a crown and get a scratchie which won Dad an Asahi beer 😁Food is always fresh and delicious. It’s one of our favourites for family gatherings

Okami is a family favourite. Everyone loves it there !

By far the best Okami Restaurant we have been to. The service was great and the quality of food was excellent. We will definitely come back to this one, despite having another in the same suburb we live in.
