Okami - Chelsea Heights

Great food and variety on the menu, but a loud ambience that doesn’t really allow for conversation. We will return though :)

Good food, friendly service. Servings of food were smaller than previous visits at other Okami locations.

The food is always great but they definitely need more staff. It took 20 minutes to be served after we were seated.

We love Okami, Chelsea Heights is one of the newest on the franchise and please to say it offers the same quality and service as the others we have visited. If you like a variety of Japanese, they offer it here.

Food was great, tasty & served so eloquently. The staff were always willing to serve us & always cleared our tables promptly.

Few teething problems... but for new restaurant nothing unforgivable. Would highly suggest better signposting entry to restaurant and investing in some sound dampening. Was almost impossible to hear on the night I was in attendance

Yummy food but very slow to receive some food items, some we got which wasn’t cooked properly and other tables (that ordered after us) were served their food before us, things were also forgotten. Not as good as Cranbourne.

Heaps of food, brilliant value for money. Make sure you go hungry....

The food was amazing, but the service was slow. Getting wine glasses took forever and when they finally gave us glasses for our red wine, we were given champagne glasses! The kids drinks also took a long time.

The food was delicious however a lot of our food kept going to the wrong table. This was on valentines day and during a vsr6 busy period. Overall my partner and I enjoyed the food we ordered after speaking to staff. Staff were friendly. Will go back.

Most awesome restaurant, , great service and food as good as you would expect from Okami restaurants. Chelsea Heights is my favorite Okami restaurant. Hampton Okami needs a renovation and too many tables to tight and bad service not like Chelsea Heights flagship Okami

They need to get better on managing gluten free foods for coeliac patrons. While they advertised Gluten Free the wait staff lacked knowledge confidence around this. If you are coeliac ring ahead and talk to them.

Food was great but at times took a long time to come. It was also very loud in there but the staff were friendly and it was great value for money so we will definitely be back.

We ordered several items that we did not get, and then had to re-order more and not all these turned up. The food was fantastic, very fresh an tasty. The noise level was too much to have a conversation with people in our group. Only other issue was the finished plates were not taken away before next ones arrived and we had to offload these onto anotehr table. These issues are just learning curves and I'm sure they will be fixed so that you will have a smooth running fanitastic restuarant. Look forward to my next visit.

Okami was very good and delicious. I not sure if I will comeback though because I think it is a little bit pricey. The food was really good but the sashimi could be a little bit more fresh.

Little slow to get service at the start. But after we had ordered service was really good. The food was amazing. A little loud.

The food was superb and all 5 of us thoroughly enjoyed it. One thing I thought was slightly odd: this time, the staff only brought out one dish at a time. When I came about a month ago with my Aunty, they brought out 3-4 dishes at once. We would’ve liked to have had 2-3 dishes in one hit due to hunger and differing preferences.
