Led by Niccolo Fagherazzi and Michael Schiavello, two friends whose chance meeting in Venice later blossomed into a full-blown business plan, the Glebe restaurant is a labour of love that aims to present guests with fresh, seasonal dishes which are as flavourful as they are beautiful. Ombretta’s elegant environment is relaxed and comfortable, and is the perfect spot for a private gathering or event. The restaurant offers fantastic breakfasts on Friday, Saturday and Sunday mornings, so stop by and nurse your hangover with an order of frittata or some homemade pastries. For lunch, try one of the classic pastas like pappardelle al ragu, or order up one of the restaurant’s daily regional dishes with either pasta, fish or meat.
