We were really disappointed with the food. The slow braised pork belly was overly salty & not much flavor. I was happy to see what I thought was a piece of big pork crackling but hard & inedible . My husband was disappointed with his pork ribs which wasn’t very nice. The crispy potato & bacon wasn’t crispy. The only thing we enjoyed was the restaurant was in a beautiful spot & the service is not too bad.

We love Roleys for all sorts of reasons - but the food is not as good as it used to be. My partner had steak on our last visit that was really poor quality and was badly cooked. We didn't complain at the time because we didn't want to spoil the party atmosphere (it was my sister's birthday party) but I'm glad to have the opportunity to give you this feedback. Thanks for all the things you do right.

Nice welcoming atmosphere, good helpful service, the wait time was short, the meal was cooked as ordered and tasted very nice. I would recommend to try Roleys on the Ridge.

Went WAY over and above to make our meal special, stayed open late, absolutely no rushing, food was as always delicious beyond imagination and no request was too much. Highly and heavily recommended to all, especially families. Thank you so very much for another lovely evening.

The food was good although noted quite a lot of differences in portion sizes depending on what you ordered for our particular meal we were satisfied and a bit disappointed the dessert was very dry and we found it difficult to see any dates in the puddings

All very good. Nice setting, we got there at midday and got a table in the balcony area with the views over the trees. The service was very attentive and good throughout. The food was very nice, home cooking style, good choice and portions. No complaints, and reasonably priced.

Food was ok but the mains were quite expensive for the size. A new paint job might help brighten the restaurant as it is looking outdated and dusty

Meal satisfactory. Not a great choice. Only people eating in a Saturday night! Cleanup started before we had sweets & no coffee offered

A disappointing drop in standard. Slow service and the food was below average. The description on the menu is not what is brought to your table. Sausages and mash with buttered peas and ox tail jus was Coles sausages, bland mash, frozen peas and packet gravy for $25. Was never asked how things were. A lack of pride and professionalism.

Went for mid week lunch, food was ok but from a very limited and disappointing menu, considering website refers to chef from Rockpool and Loose Box.

Sadly we would not visit this restaurant again. We were visiting the area to celebrate two family birthdays and thought we would take the punt and step outside of our usual haunts in Freo. We were not rewarded! It took 45mins to receive our first round of drinks to only to be given the wrong order. XPA not Rogers. Apparently the guest beer had left for the day as they had sold out of Little Creatures XPA so was slim pickings on the re-order. That should have given us some insight into what was to come but ever the optimist we stuck it out. Wrong move....... Communication was a BIG issue. There was confusion everywhere you looked. One table left as nobody came to take there order...meals were going to the wrong tables and the arguments between the front of house staff and the kitchen were unprofessional and quite frankly embarrassing. When patrons need to collect their own meals because theirs was the only meal waiting patiently to be collected by anyone there is a problem. Having said all of that the best was reserved for our table... whilst three out of five meals arrived when we were still eating our entrees, we waited patiently for the other two to arrived. In the meantime we watched other patrons complain about their experience, witnessed dirty glasses pile up in the front bar and WE had to redirect food to the correct tables. FINALLY we asked our stressed out waitress if the other two meals were coming... they had been completely forgotten. Full disclosure the restaurant gave us a 25% unsolicited discount and we did say we would never be back. In some serious need of help from hospitality professionals. Mentors apply within.......

Disappointed in two of the meals - steak and green vegetables were so cold that they had to be sent back to the kitchen to go into the microwave.

Everything was terrible I'm sorry to say from the service to the wait time to the food and the decor, and lack of cleanliness of the place was deplorable. The menu and food was below average boring and more like pub food, only I think we would've done better to go to a pub. This is a top location for a restaurant but we wont be going back there anytime soon unless major improvements are made. Very disappointing. We complained and were given discount on our meal but they will have to up their game or they wont be there for long.

Very disappointing. Food choices poor, waiting for drinks 25mins when not busy. Inexperienced staff that dont have a dress code. Decor looks secondhand and prices way over top

The place is fantastic. Unfortunately quality of the food has gone down hill a long way from the past. The meal was not special. The mash and pork was dry and there was only a small amont of vegetables. Do not usually write reports but was fairly disappointed with our visit as it has always been much better in the past. (We haven’t been for a couple of years).

Today was my partners Birthday so we retuned to the place we loved. Ha ! Ha ! I could cook better ! I didn't say anything to the 2 girls serving but tried get the cooks eye on the way out but his head was down. Needless to say we won't be back. This is my first review of anything really ! Live and let live but Rollys on the Ridge deserves better.

We were a bit disappointed in the limited menu selections for vegetarians and the Garden Burger vegetarian option was not available which I only found out when the wrong burger topped with bacon was brought out to the table and I explained that wasn’t what I ordered. The Buddha Bowl was very nice however as I asked for that as a substitute. The garlic bread was a little bit burned. The dessert was very nice however the flat white I ordered at the end of the meal never came and so we just decided to leave and settle the bill. I don’t think we’ll be returning mainly due to very limited vegetarian options

usually can write good reviews on roleys but long wait for the meal nearly an hour service and kitchen staff seemed streclhed ate here many times before this was the first time we had hiccup with the long wait and not the best meal restaurant was empty by the time we left - put it down as a one off for now.
