The food came quickly and it tasted good. Staff was friendly and pleasant.

The staff are always pleasant, food good and service great. We go often and will continue to go.

We came for the dumplings and was told new chef does not do dumplings. cottage pie was very ordinary and way to bib and runny and one of the others at the table said that her food was overcooked and very dry. I was promoting with friends that the pub had some great tasty food but after tonight not sure we will be back if the current chef continues. The service was as usual fabulous.

We enjoyed our first dining experience at the RB Hotel. The food was tasty and nicely presented. Our waitress was very efficient and friendly. She did a great job!

We were a little underwhelmed with the food. The Tuna salads were very nice, but smaller than I expected. The calamari was very good, and the serving size was good. We probably under ordered. Service was good.

I chose the Asian menu. The duck pancakes were OK but not fantastic, the pork dumplings and beef dim sim were dreadful. The dough was way to heavy and thick and the the fillings were stodgy. If I came back I would definitely not select anything from the Asian menu again.

Everything was fine, the food did take a while to come out, but we were ok with that.

We dined at the Oaks Hotel Double Bay on Wednesday & were so disappointed with the food that was presented to us. We had been recommended to the Oaks but it did not deliver. We have dined at the Rose bay Hotel previously whilst visiting the area, & it never disappoints, but today was excellent. Great table position. Great welcome. Great staff. Great ambiance. Great food & wine. 10/10 … ✅✅✅

My overall experience wasn’t pleasant at all. Food and service were good. Prices were a bit overrated considering it is a pub. On the other hand, I had a couple w/ kids harassing me because I had my 9 and 4 years old playing on our table area but nothing out of line. The restaurant manager approached me to ask if I wanted to change tables instead of inviting this man and his family out of the restaurant. What a shame!

Totally underwhelmed by this experience. The food was below average and grossly over priced.
