Food and service great. It was cold out on the verandah, air conditiiner blasting out from indoors with windows wide open. Maybe some blankets? It was such a balmy night, shame to be cold outside

Great menu & beverage selection. Food delicious, barramundi outstanding. On the warm-side inside (possibly no air con?). Only downside being we had to ask twice to have table cleared.

A friend and I had dinner at The Rose Bay Hotel tonight. The staff were friendly and efficient. We had chicken skewers and Barramundi which were delicious and the place was buzzing with a happy crowd. A fun neighbourhood pub with a charming relaxed local vibe. Well done team!

Rose Bay hotel has good energy, good choice of beer and excellent food. That’s why I’m a regular there

All scotch fillets were amazing. The chicken parmigiana could use more tomato in the sauce (which was a bit dry) and maybe ham instead of prosciutto - which was quite salty .

We came for the dumplings and was told new chef does not do dumplings. cottage pie was very ordinary and way to bib and runny and one of the others at the table said that her food was overcooked and very dry. I was promoting with friends that the pub had some great tasty food but after tonight not sure we will be back if the current chef continues. The service was as usual fabulous.

We enjoyed our first dining experience at the RB Hotel. The food was tasty and nicely presented. Our waitress was very efficient and friendly. She did a great job!

We were a little underwhelmed with the food. The Tuna salads were very nice, but smaller than I expected. The calamari was very good, and the serving size was good. We probably under ordered. Service was good.

I chose the Asian menu. The duck pancakes were OK but not fantastic, the pork dumplings and beef dim sim were dreadful. The dough was way to heavy and thick and the the fillings were stodgy. If I came back I would definitely not select anything from the Asian menu again.
