Silo Restaurant and Lounge

Prompt service, rang to check if we were arriving for our booking, held the table despite us being late. Food was fresh and of good quality.

Fantastic location, great food, attentive staff. On a balmy autumn evening I couldn't think of a better place to be. We will definitely be back.

Service was great,furnishing was old,food was good Problem found,high chairs were stored in the disabled Toilets,stopping wheel chairs entering.also a concern For cleanliness of chairs

Inconsistency flavor of the foods. The taste was ridiculous. If the two foods I ordered, all was too sour and nothing balanced them out as the sides.

Arrived for lunch on a beautiful day had a seat overlooking harbour .greeted by a a lovely friendly staff member who explained the lunch menu and continued to impress for the duration of our meal will definitely come back to silo.

My friend and I went for lunch and we had a good time there. We enjoy our meals and also a couple of Mojitos! I had prawn and fettuccine pasta with chilli and my friend had the chicken burger. The service was fine. Thanks.

We celebrated my husband's birthday and the venue was superb. The day was really hot so Silo's position on the Newcastle harbour was ideal. All staff were helpful and friendly. The food was delicious with plenty of variety to select from. All meals looked wonderful and were good value. Sincere thanks to all staff for making this occasion a special time for us all.......best wishes from Robyn

Service was good, food was nice but expensive for an outdoor bistro. I don't regret eating there but will probably not go back. The menu choice is very limited to be called a restaurant.

One of the wait starf very impersonal the rest very good . The meal very generous and tasty.Very interesting view especially for overseas visitors very easy to book on line

Great setting and helpful staff. Had the Barramundi special and it was absolutely delicious. Innovative accompanying vegetables and perfectly cooked fish. Will definitely come again.

We went to Silo for dinner, the food was delicious, the service was quick and it was beautiful dining by the water on a summer afternoon!

Wouldn't go back. was crap, the service was poor, waited to long for meals..👎Then the meals weren't worth the wait... waited to long for drinks as well...

Silo is a great night out for a large or small group. Monday night was just the two of us for dinner. The Staff were lovely, dining atmosphere was great, well lit but not too bright so you could still enjoy the view. The food and wine menus were amazing, with the timing between courses spot on... what more could you ask for?

The food was great....olives for a starter and the risotto for a main were very tasty and satisfying without being too full. Service was quick and the staff were very presentable and friendly

They didn't know about our reservation !! Lucky they had room for us. Food was lovely, although presenting the food on the "bread board" is kind of getting old. Oh, don't buy the juices. The menu presents it as fresh juice by having these wonderful sounding creations, but it's all carton juice with a bit of lime and the ingredient typed on the menu !!!

Quality of service excellent, quality of food excellent. Good wine and drinks to select from. Not large meals but will have no hesitation to return
