The Hill Restaurant Bar & Cafe

Really enjoyed it. The only thing that could be considered for future is that when kids meals are ordered, perhaps they can come first, rather than 10 minutes after all the adult meals. We had 3 families dining together, and the kids meal arrived well after all the adults of the families had already received their meals. And then the fish and chips were so hot that the little ones had to wait even longer. Perhaps, next time the kids meals can come out first. Adults have no issue waiting. But it can be the end of the world to 2 and 3 year olds ;)

We found The Hill a good place to eat, food was nice and service was good, overall a good experience.

Overall we enjoyed our breakfast at The Hill. We love the eggs Benedict but find the hollandaise has an unusual taste and the scrambled eggs aren’t as fluffy as they could be. The best corn fritters and great coffee.

Service,food and overall experience was fantastic. It was a busy night but we were looked after by all the staff in a polite and prompt manner. Highly recommend

Nasi Goreng was not hot enough. Steak was cooked exactly the way I like it. Restaurant is quite noisy and we sat in booth and found it quite uncomfortable, seat too low and could not sit back and still engage in conversation across table. Overall it was a very good experience.

A pleasant family style restaurant with a good menu with choices to suit most. The Carnivore Plate to share was excellent value for money. Noise level gets a bit high due to the open design with high ceiling but you expect that in this kind of restaurant
