Washed down with a bottle of wine or a refreshing cocktail, we can’t think of anything better if we’re honest. Thinking about making a Two Buoys booking?
There’s a lot to be said about sharing food with friends. You can be opened up to a world of new flavours, textures, tastes and when matched perfectly with a particular wine or beer, well, there’s nothing quite like it. At Two Buoys this is exactly what you should expect – think savouring several tapas plates, cheese boards with a bottle or two of wine sourced from local and international wineries, while taking in the beautiful views of Port Phillip Bay from the outdoor terrace on the coast of Dromana, just south of Melbourne.
We recommend ordering several nibbles from all parts of the Two Buoys menu. Whet your appetite with a charcuterie board with your choice of cured meats and cheeses and the spicy Moroccan flatbread topped with mozzarella and oregano. Following on, order up a couple dozen oysters; – either natural or kilpatrick – soft shell crab sliders with burnt chilli mayo and bean slaw; fried lamb ribs with smoked potatoes and dukkah, and jalapeno poppers with smoked cheddar and chilli caramel. Two Buoys also offers large sharing platters like creamy Spanish prawns with chilli, garlic and sourdough; coconut mussels, chilli and lemongrass broth and international favourite, chicken wings served with celery and a blue cheese dip. Two Buoys is located on Point Nepean Road in Dromana, on the Mornington Peninsular south of Melbourne. Booking ahead is essential.
