Everything was good, except when a staff came to us and asked us to pay our bill at around 8:30-40pm while we didn't finish our dinner yet and were still waiting for another dishes. That just made our dinner experience here not 100% satisfied. Otherwise, food and staff service were outstanding.

Sea urchin donburi was fantastic, as was the kingfish yuzu. Kumquat drink with the kumquqt jelly was one of the best drinks I've tried. The pacing of the dinner was very fast however. A bit of a breather between dishes would have been nice.

I was amazed by entrace into the restaurant. It was beautiful with so much information, photos, video documentary on sea urchins, it was like a museum. Food was fresh and delicious, especially the sea urchin hotpot. Service was great, waiting staff took good care of us.

The dish what I got, was just amazing, but in the picture, looks way bigger! Too small for a grown man, maybe for a small woman would be fine! Not about the meaty, but for the rice bowl itself!

The food was fresh and service was personable. The ginseng chicken soup was flavourful and all the mini dons we had were tasty. The free kombucha is also very yummy and I love the concept of eating sea urchin to help combat climate change!

Overpriced with the set menu! My wife and I had stomach discomfort on that night after consumption of the food. My daughter has to go to Macdonald to top up because she didn’t like the food😭. I don’t think we will visit again!

First visit, great place for those who love sea urchins

It was our first time and it was our anniversary. We thought this place would be too pricey but it was good value. Definitely will bring my family for dinner. The food offerings were amazing - there’s a wide variety of umami, what a wonderful culinary experience. We had a pleasant surprise dessert for our special occasion. I will be back for sure.

All is good, except that when I book online, i was given the choice to include the order for mini don at$98 (i guess it was a special for online booker), when then I was charged $129.00 on check out. I did not realize until I came home. anyway not a big deal.
