Food was great and the service was quick! Will come back again in future!

I used to go to Vertue a lot more pre pandemic, but the prices are now really difficult to warrant the visit. I understand prices need to go up with the increased costs to run a restaurant, but it’s a tough ask to pay 80 bucks for 2 breakfasts and two coffees. Food is still great though, service at the last visit was a little sub par (nearly empty but took an age to serve the table and wasn’t given water until the food arrived). Would give them another try though, particularly when guests visit Melbourne as it’s a cool space and in a great location

the two waitresses that served us weren’t great at customer service, one of our party asked for salmon to be cooked and the other asked for egg to be cooked (due to pregnancy) after food had come out and the waitress wasn’t very good about it. The coffee was good, as a whole we thot it was over priced. So paid $7.65 for a take away latte!

Great little brunch spot, the tabling is a little cramped and would be better off with a few less tables so there is more space between people.

The food was incredible - tasted amazing and looked so beautiful! I had the tofu scramble and it was sooooo goooood! The staff were so lovely and friendly as well. Thank you for having such a wide and interesting range of vegetarian and vegan options, will definitely be coming back!

Quirky location, friendly greeting on arrival, good COVID-19 measures in place, nice atmosphere, delicious food, efficient and nice staff. Definitely recommend!

Everything was great! But seating time for only 1 hour and 15 minutes and we were not told at the start and this wasn't stated on the website when we booked.

Friendly staff, great choice on the menu & food arrived quickly. We weren’t rushed out after finishing our breakfast either - it was so nice to just chill out for a bit! Can’t wait for our next visit.

I ordered the almond coconut porridge and it the main flavour was ginger. I really don't enjoy ginger and had trouble eating it. However, my friend ordered the tiramisu waffles with fried chicken which I tried and they were phenomenal.

The food was great, coffee was great, but one server taking our order was quite rude. I told him about my allergies and he was quite aggressive in saying the kitchen contains all of those things and it’s not their fault if I have a reaction. I told him I understood, just checking they won’t be on the plate. My friends and I all talked about how rude he was afterwards. I wonder if no one with allergies has ever spoken to him before? He was wearing all black, had tattoos, and a brownish/reddish beard. The rest of the staff were lovely and very kind.
