Try some of these traditional favourites in Brazilian restaurants across Sydney
The churrascaría is one of the best-known types of cooking to be found in Sydney's Brazilian restaurants but there are so many other delicious dishes just to be discovered... Moqueca, for example, is a fish stew from the northeast of Brazil. Served in a clay pot and often coloured a deep red with annatto seeds, this casserole of succulent fish, tomatoes, onions and coriander is a hearty meal that is a favourite in Bahia and Espírito Santo. Feijoada is another warming stew, made with black beans, sausages and cuts of pork that packs a flavourful punch, whilst also being super filling.
