Today I had brunch with a friend and it was a lot quieter than normal which was lovely. The food was great and service amazing. I always enjoy my time when I come.

Loved the breakfast - coffee and meal were delish - only small criticism is that the music doesn't match the vibe - to heavy and loud for breaky - give me some easy listening vibes.

Good value healthy food options. Can have the breakfast all day. Main dining area noisy but the smaller room was much quieter and lovely. Wine list was good with lots of local choices and the cocktail I had was great. There was a good cocktail selection, not just the old stuff. I'd go again and would request the quiet section.

Great food and excellent service in a beautifully appointed heritage building. The menu had great options no matter your dietary requirements and the food was delicious. The only issue was the noise level inside. The chatter from the various tables did make it difficult at times to hear our own table’s conversation. Anyone with hearing difficulties would struggle. The venue definitely needs sound absorbing additions to the decor.

Stunningly renovated and the food is always on point. Add to that the fact that the coffee is delicious and the staff are some of the best in Bendigo means this place is an absolute winner.

Beautiful venue. Lovely staff. Great coffee. The pancakes sauce was too sweet, but otherwise the food was delicious.

We were welcomed by Deacon who showed us to a lovely table suited to my hearing issue. Deacon looked after us beautifully and we thoroughly enjoyed our lunch.

Lovely meal, I am glad we were in the small room. The large room is very noisy and I would not have enjoyed it.

The pumpkin - halumi dish was yummy but bit sweet/rich with the mashed pumpkin. I was expecting roasted with dukkah Really enjoyed our time - friendly efficient service. Congrats on great new venue!!

Food was ok but menu was the same as any other cafe in town. I booked my table and we had just finished eating and we’re having a chat when the the waiter said you have 5 minutes guys we have rebooked your table. I find this extremely rude and poor customer service, especially considering the table next to us was empty. We were thinking of having another coffee but left in disgust.

Meal and service was outstanding. The ambiance of the room was also very good

I had the crispy skin Barramundi and it was delicious - so fresh! My partner had the steak sandwich which he said was good. Lunch menu quite limited . A bit noisy until the numbers died down. We will return .

The food was great, but it’s such a noisy space, then with music and the coffee machine next to us it was hard to have a conversation. The option of some smaller dishes would be good, most of my friends only want something light for lunch.

We came for a team breakfast with colleagues from work. The booking process was easy and our colleagues with dietaries were accommodated with ease. We all enjoyed the dishes we had and also the coffee. Service was great, really friendly. The atmosphere was lovely - the decor is absolutely lush - and our only comment was that it was pretty noisy even though there were only two tables in when we were in, so it was hard to hear each other sometimes. But that was just a really small note on an excellent experience,

Just felt the noise level a little high mainly because it seemed to bounce off the floor to ceiling. However our group was very elderly and therefore for two of us their hearing was impaired. Excellent dining experience all round.

My only complaint is that it was very noisy. We found it hard to hear each other over the music and conversation of other tables. It wont stop me coming back, but maybe the music can be turned right down or off.

We really enjoyed our whole visit. The noise levels were a little high but as we had a lot to catch up on we didn’t let it stop us from talking.

Fabulous space, attentive wait staff, and the food was delicious! Real tea in a pot was an added bonus for us! Well done all round to the Drawing Room, we will be back! :)

We have watched this building be renovated over the past months and were excited to see it open for dining. Our visit exceeded our expectations. The fit out & decor are luxurious and elegant, the service friendly and prompt, and the food was 10/10. A small menu had me hopeful that the chef was narrowing in on their specialty dishes and I suspect that is the case. The two dishes we ordered, crispy barramundi on angel hair pasta & pork belly salad were fresh, hot, packed with flavour and fresh herbs as well as being plated beautifully. The wine list was curated with some of our favourites, the whole lunch experience was perfect! Cannot wait to return

It was quite loud, service was great. One slice of bread with eggs Benedict was not enough.

First visit ,loved the place and will be back to have lunch next time when perhaps it’s quieter

The owners have kept wonderful safe GF options from their last cafe, I got the brekky burger and actually got a GF bun instead of bread! It was so delicious & so was the smoothie.
