Alpha Seafood Restaurant

Poor selection of food....instant coffee a put off. Had to pay for a real coffee. The ambience of the place is a plus. Expensive for what you get.

Waitresses were very polite and friendly.As it was a very quiet night some of the food had sort of dried up a bit but they brought out fresh food when we requested it.Very simple but tasty food.

ambience was great, good was average.. staff were helpful.. seafood was very limited only crabs and prawns, cake and ice cream were dessert , the array of food was not too many as you would expect..

The adds on the internet are deceiving. We were after an a la carte seafood restaurant. We walked in and straight back out.It was more like a cafe.

It was so bad I would encourage people not to go anywhere near that resturant. The food was appallingly. Definately a waste of money. Never again.

This is good if you just want some cheap buffet. No atmosphere not far from mall foodcourt smorgasbord to be honest. But you get what you paid for.

Don't expect a buffet with unlimited choices but good value for money when using a voucher.Restaurant is very open,spacious with a laid back atmosphere.Staff were courteous and friendly.

Buffet was very nice and suited the family - except for the dessert.... 5-litre homebrand ice-cream in a tub for self-serve is less than ordinary and not what we expected at Crown Towers in Surfers Paradise

I had eaten at the Chang Mai Thai a number of times at the Crown Towers and that was amazing. I thought as this restaurant was in same hotel/resort it would be of the same calibre. We were asked to pay for our meal straight away. I understand why....Food was way below average and was sitting there for hours without fresh food replacing it. I thought as it was a Sunday night that was why it was empty. I understand now why, the food was barely edible. I walked past the Thai restaurant on our way out and it was packed. The Alpha needs to close down and a new restaurant to replace it.

Food was cold...advertised as a seafood buffet and wagu...not much variety althougj the food that did eat was nice...the fact that the hot food was room temp was a let down

I would never eat there again. We waited an hour for the main meals and when we asked why we were told 'the family had to be fed first'. If you are located in a hotel you should be able to meet the high demand. The mash potato was Deb (not real potato) and the fish was raw in the middle which was a shame as the outside was cooked perfectly.
