Amaro – named after the iconic bitter liqueur that is a staple of Italian bars – is the new name of an Adelaide staple (formerly known as Gusto) down on Hutt Street, just two blocks south of Wakefield Street in the city centre. They offer the same superb Italian food as ever, and back it up with a massive wine list that showcases the best from both Italy and Australia.
We regularly eat out as a group and unfortunately would have to say this was the worst Italian meal we have had. All meals lacked flavour, quantity not good. Would not go back
Very good food & service in a sparsely occupied restaurant. Good value for money also. Maybe they should promote it better. We will go there again.
