Adelaide: a cosmopolitan coastal capital. As the bustling capital of South Australia, Adelaide has restaurants. Lots of restaurants. And you’d best believe the vast majority of them are packing flavour and style in abundance. But we’ll get to all of that after we’ve talked a little about the city itself and what makes Adelaide’s restaurant scene as booming as it is. First, it’s by far the biggest city in South Australia and home to by far the most people in this rich and cultural state. As well, it’s received quite the old whack of Government funding in recent years, meaning spectacular development of a modern cityscape as well as the redevelopment of the city’s older, historical buildings. Naturally, all of this, particularly when combined with Adelaide’s seabreeze, makes the city a very pleasant place to live or to visit. Simply put, an environment where restaurants can thrive.
