Top-notch coffee, a very cool space with sociable shared tables, great cafe breakfasts, crafty cocktails and some of the best handmade pizzas to be found in Fitzroy – what more could you ask for under one roof? We think not much. Attaboy Roy has hit the ground running, having recently opened its doors and made it even harder to decide where to hit up on Brunswick Street this time. Having said that, Attaboy Roy actually make this decision a little easier, because no matter what time of day you’ll find excellent food and everything else you could need here. Whether for a perfectly pulled espresso to get you going, an exquisite Toscana pizza with truffle oil and mushrooms to get you through the midday hump, or a creative New Fashioned cocktail to kick back of an evening, Attaboy Roy answers the call. It seems set to ascend the ranks of cool cafes and eateries in one of Melbourne’s coolest areas very quickly, so be sure to book a spot while you can!
A good presentation of both breakfadt dishes. I would have liked a more hotter serve as it was shown that parts of the food was cold on my menu chosen. An overall tasty breakfast from both if us. The other concern was unfortunately the council has imposed very strict parking conditions and as such it can be stressful knowing you have one hour to park at the cafe, eat and go.That spoils the quality time when one dines.
We had a great lunch at Attaboy Roy. Such a cosy venue on a winter's day. Definitely recommend the Hello Me burger - it was amazing!
Great space, place, food and service. Inviting and comfortable space for socialising, very friendly and helpful service and staff. An over and above approach to meeting group needs.
Best burgers we've eaten in years, really enjoyed our meals we would all visit this restaurant again. There was a good choice of beers and wine also.
