The humble neighbourhood curry house is up there with good local schools and parks in the estimations of prospective new residents, so if you’re moving house in Melbourne, then you’re going to need to do your research. No matter, we’ve done it for you: look no further than Bawarchi Indian Restaurant in Moorabbin. They offer everything that you could possibly want in an Indian restaurant, with a menu that is packed favourites, a welcome as warm as you’ll find anywhere and a BYO option on the drinks. Begin your meal on Station Street – Bawarchi is across from Moorabbin station – with something special from the tandoor, such as the chicken tikka or the lamb seekh kebabs, before moving onto a classic curry. Meat lovers will go for something spicy like the chicken vindaloo or a mild korma, whereas veggies can take a shahi paneer with tomatoes and garlic and seafood fans will try the prawn curry. Book a table and head on over to Station Street for one of the top curry houses in Moorabbin.
Excellent experience we had. Delicious food, good staff, value for money. Good service and a nice ambience. I strongly recommend to everyone one out there
Fabulous tasty food, service was pretty good apart from some of the rice that was being shared came out much later than the mains, which was a bit disappointing.
