BBQ 1988 is a lively restaurant in Glen Waverley that’s bringing something entirely new to the table when it comes to Korean barbeque. Melbourne foodies can dine here and find unique built-for-purpose cooking boxes on each table, offering both a charcoal oven for cooking skewers as well as a grill on top. It’s a fun way to enjoy a feast with friends or the family, especially when you consider how high quality the meat, seafood and vegetable produce is. Alongside the BBQ sets, the menu at BBQ 1988 also features authentic stews, hot pots, bibimbaps, pancakes and sides. Located on Coleman Parade in Glen Waverley, BBQ 1988 also has an atmosphere dedicated to the nostalgic period of – you guessed it – 1988.
Food was great. Didn't have all the drink choices available that were on the menu.
overall it was great. occasionally, the waiters had forgotten to get an item we needed but that was alright.
Good service and lots of food. Overall pretty happy with it
