steaks were great but unfortunately we can't recommend it everyone as there is no option for someone who doesn't want a steak on the night. Two years ago you could get vegetarian and chicken options, I find it strange that in this day and age a restaurant doesn't add something for non meat eaters! Even one item! It's trying to be like Vlados in Richmond which has been around for 50+ years - 1. you can't compete with tradition and 2. the place is so dark, hot and gloomy that they have to have more to get more people in. Only 8 people on a warm Friday night in Northcote is sad and as much as I loved my steak....not sure I'd go back and I don't think the other three people with me would go back either. What happened to Mr Hector?
