Billy’s Lakeside Wendouree is all about quality paddock-to-plate dining and superb service. This stylish and relaxed cafe and restaurant is tucked away within Stockland Wendouree Shopping Centre on the corner of Normal and Gillies Streets, not too far from the heart of Ballarat. The space itself is modern and sleek, with plants and a giant neon Billy’s sign that complements the modern Australian menu just perfectly. Speaking of, Billy’s Lakeside is home to a wide array of dishes and you’ll find delicious breakfast items, fresh salad, pizzas, burgers and so much more. One of our favourite places in Ballarat, this place fills up very quickly indeed so booking ahead is highly recommended.

If you’re visiting for breakfast, we love the house-smoked salmon with crème fraiche and a poached egg; spring onion and goat’s cheese scramble and the smashed avo with cherry tomatoes, poached eggs, coriander and toasted sesame. Delicious.
If you’re in for lunch or dinner, Billy’s Lakeside Wendouree offers an enticing selection of burgers, pizzas and Australian-style mains you’ll just love. We recommend the Florentine pizza topped with spinach, tomato, egg and crème fraiche or the prosciutto with mozzarella, parmesan and wild rocket.
