All of our food was excellent, the katsu sando was amazing though.

Absolutely delicious... great value too and lovely setting. The host is very helpful too. The beef ribs are sooo tasty... and the sharebplatter is a must! All the tapas are insanely yummy!

Such a lovely night! The restaurant was not hectic on a Friday night, the wait for food was not long, the service was great, we even get a complimentary dessert too! Love the catch of the day barramundi and the beef ribs!

Waitstaff was amazing, friendly, helpful and polite! Tapas platter was good value for money, squid was great! We used to love the katsu sando but they changed the bread and it’s not as good anymore :( kimchi risotto taste was good but wish it’s abit more on the dry side. Overall, good place!

Nice atmosphere in shafto lane. Friendly but non-intrusive service. Food came out promptly. We did their degustation which was tasty but we questioned a couple of dishes. The arancini balls were nice but not sure how it fits in with the cuisine and flow of the rest of the meal. I didn’t like the spaghetti dish which I felt was overly salted and not cooked properly and again unsure of its relevance. Dessert was good 👌

Definitely one of the best fusion restaurants in Perth. Service, flavor and the uniqueness of how creative they were with each dishes! Can’t fault anything and worth every single penny. Their wagyu steak is to die for! The just enough charcoal flavor and perfect level of cooking. Cozy atmosphere and perfect table service. Only found out at the end all these delicious, amaze ball food were prep by a 2 Michelin stars’ chef!!

Both the rib eye and the wagyu steaks were great, but the standout dish of the night was the arancini. They were packed with so much flavour and perfectly crisp on the outside!

I would recommend Binchotan to colleagues and friends. The portions were just right and presentation very colourful and appetising. We had a Ladies lunch today and was thouroughly enjoyed by all. We will definately be back. Tamas the manager was very freindly and attentive. We also were happy with the idea of paying seperate bills.
