We’ll shoot you straight – it’s hard to think of somebody not finding what they want at Bowen Arrow Cafe on Campbell Street. We admit to being suckers for puns but, still, this one gets us through the heart (it’s located in Bowen Hills, in case you didn’t get it) even when you take points for the name out of the equation. For starters, Bowen Arrow Cafe is one of Brisbane’s leaders when it comes to raw, vegan and gluten-free eating, offering mouthwatering sweet treats like raspberry and coconut slice, luxurious chocolate brownies and salted caramel truffles, all of which tick those three boxes. However, Bowen Arrow Cafe is also a haven for carnivorous characters and glutenous gluttony, from their meaty hangover-cure bagels (the Messy Benny and the roast beef Reuben generate a lot of chatter) to a chicken and bacon brioche burger for lunch. Bowen Arrow even have super healthy and super tasty fruit bowls, and we didn’t even have a chance to mention great coffee until now!
Table well presented with cold water. Menus on table. Drinks ordered and brought out promptly. Food was brought out all together. No complaints on quality from any of the guests. Staff very friendly.

Situated in a quiet corner and a short walk near the train station. But amazing food and drink with the price paid. Everything went above my expectations!
