Ordered 5 main meals. 2 came very quickly, and the other 3 took more than 30 MINUTES to arrive. They had finished theirs and the others were still waiting. Pork chop was like a hockey puck, chicken Kiev was empty inside. Cauli & carrots were boiled - no flavour & still crunchy. With so many other great pubs around, we won’t be back.

Service was good and the food was great. Our reservation was at 1pm, which is usually at the tail end of the lunch rush. It didn’t take long to order and then received our meals, despite it still being fairly busy. Much appreciated.

Bar staff were very good, however the wait time for our meals was very long, even for our entree to come out was approx 45min. Then when the meals came out there was 10mins between the 1st and last. We were a table of 6 so that sort of time is not really acceptable. Had been a while since we had been and now we know why.

Very disappointed with quality of fish, it was watery and flavourless but the chips were lovely. Young staff member with long hair was rude and needs to brush up on her hospitality skills. We were waiting for dessert ( had been waiting for 35 mins) when she asked how the meal was and in the next breath told us our table had another booking in 20mins before going back into the kitchen to see where the dessert was. No point scuffing down dessert with limited time so we left and won’t be returning.

We booked dinner at the earliest seating, and had to wait about half an hour for our meals. Our meals were delicious and enough to leave us full. Our desserts were brought out at very different times, so I had finished mine before my husband’s was brought out. That would be my only complaint. We’ll definitely be back to eat there again soon.

Warm and friendly. Food was delicious. We stayed a while catching up and were the last to leave, but at no stage was hurried up by staff. This was sincerely appreciated.

Unfortunately, I had the vegetable korma. Lucky I paid extra for prawns as it was mostly potatoes and they were too hard to cut let alone eat. Flavour was good though. Garlic bread and chips & gravy good.

Excellent service (with many smiles) great food at sensible prices, generous portions and a friendly, comfortable atmosphere. Could not recommend this venue too highly

Took over an hour for someone to come & ask if we had ordered, which we had. We then got our meals in about 15 mins & were given a free drink after they had removed our drinks from the table while we were outside. Time it takes to get a meal has not improved but the meals are tasty so if you're not in a hurry it's okay

Saturday night family dinner for 6 adults 3 children. We each had a different meal and found all meals except 1, to be of very good quality. The Bahn Mi bun was very dry and the salad in it gritty which was disappointing. The children enjoyed a play in the little outdoor playground. It was a warm Summer evening and the outdoor dining area was closed which was also disappointing. Overall though a pleasant place for a family dinner, good food and quick service.

Thought the food was excellent, well prepared and served in a timely manner by a polite waitress. Having had an unfortunate experience dining in a Melbourne hotel recently, we were glad to come back to Ballarat for excellence.

Was a lovely night out. Atmosphere was lovely, not too noisy. Service was great, friendly staff. Food came out quickly and was delicious and well presented.

On arrival staff seemed bothered there was no friendly smile then Waited over an hour for the meal of fish and chips to arrive no service during that time no checking in meal arrived it was ok fish was a bit oily but nothing to brag about overall not a great night out

Service and meals were good and able to run a 'Tab' - which made things easier. Drinks were cold and meals were hot and well presented. Was expecting a turkey roast at this time - was advised that there had been a rush with older groups and sold out

From the time we walked in the door we felt welcomed to be there. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The meals were fantastic and enjoyed by all. A really good serving size but I did struggle to to finish my meal. If I had to make a suggestion it would be to offer half serves as an option (because I really hate to waste good food) Thank you for a wonderful experience, we will be back!!

We ordered from the full range menu. On the seniors menu for dinner, it did not mention calamari.
