Cafe Florentine

Great service and lovely friendly staff delicious food and the restaurant had a lovely warm feel about it. Highly recommend you to eat here and enjoy the warm atmosphere.

Really enjoyed breakfast on Mother's Day. Lots of people and really tasty well cooked options. Good welcome and pleasantly warm inside and out. Would certainly recommend Cafe Florentine.

An enjoyable dinner without being exceptional. Staff were attentive although further training could be good, particularly in knowledge of wines, but also knowledge of what is actually on the plate. Staff tastings might help. Again, a pleasant evening at a reasonable cost.

Service was pleasant and food was ok - but the fish had clearly been cooked in advance and was overcooked for my liking. Have enjoyed it more on other occasions.

Service was excellent & food was fantastic. would definitely go back. just need to remember to order sides next time. all the staff are very friendly & helpful.

Is it a cafe or restaurant? As a cafe after 7pm I gues it's not too bad but to call it a restaurant ? Never.

We have been here many times over the years. Excellent meals, good portion and very tasty Pastas and fried prawns. Very good coffees too. Will continue going.

The Lamb shank and the Roasted Chicken Breast were to die for :) The list of wines quite good. We wanted to have desert as well, but there was no more room :)

Comfortable setting with open dire place and excellent food but the waitress got our order wrong and one guest waited for some time before receiving his dinner.

Food was great but service terrible. We had to keep waving at staff to come and fill up water, take away plates and order more wine. No smiles. Staff leaning against bar Very disappointing

Our family enjoyed the delicious food and the excellent service. We love Café Florentine's cosy atmosphere and professional staff. We're looking forward to our next dining experience.

Thought they must have had the B team on tonight, food was ordinary. Would say, don't go mid-week for dinner, leave it for the week-end.

Florentine was as usual busy and buzzy. They agreed to substitute potato for polenta on one dish and service was pleasant but food a little bland. Good for after a film

The food was very good as usual, however the menu could be more varied. Also one meal had to be reheated as it was cold.

Food and service were great but they had no record of my booking when I called to add a person. You might want to check on this!

Very good attention from the wait staff. Not much waiting on a busy morning. Everything just right on the plate. Conversation was easy due to low noise levels.

Excellent food and great service. We were well looked after and staff were very friendly and food was delicious. Wonderful time was had and look forward to next visit.

Service was good. Wine was nice also. The eye fillet special with a chilli jam/relish was lovely my only criticism would be a side of mash with those delicious mushrooms would've been great!! The meringue was delicious for dessert but need a bit more mango with the dessert

Great food, right number of diners for there to be a real buzz in the place. Little wonder that it has been a family favourite for many years.

Very relaxed dining. Enjoyable meal of a high standard. Not exorbitant cost-wise. A party of six, nicely accommodated in an alcove so we did not have to struggle to hear conversation. The rest of the restaurant did not seem noisy in any case.

The coffee & smoothies were great! Food was beautifully presented but not spectacular.

Family friendly cafe with caring and attentive staff. Our sons, 2 and 4 years, love the meat balls while we usually order something from the specials board. Florentine also have a good selection of wines by the glass.
