Cafe mint oozes cool. It’s a contemporary, nail-bitingly stylish restaurant in Surry Hills where the focus of the kitchen is modern Moroccan and Mediterranean food. You can dine here for breakfast, lunch or dinner but whatever time of day you reserve a table for, the quality of the food and as well as the service will, we assure you, be obvious. To give you a sense of the dinner menu, the Persian lamb shanks, the seafood tagine and the roast garlic and potato stuffed ravioli topped with sauteed field mushrooms are all real treats. Cafe Mint is unique and absolutely worth a trip from anywhere in Sydney.
The staff was very friendly, and we got seated immediately - despite that it was a drop in. Service was on point, and the waitress checked in multiple times of the course of our dinner. Food was great, however not outstanding. The falafel was well cooked, but taste somewhat bland. Overall it was a nice middle eastern dining experience, and i would go back for a casual dinner once I’m in Sydney again.
Thought the food was not as good as previously and few specials. But the service and ambiance were fine as was the wine. Nice place still.
