Really disappointing, has gone downhill since we last visited. I had scrambled eggs on GF bread, couldn't call it toast, it was missing the feta and the quantity was not worth $18. My partner had the brioche with avocado, hardly any avocado added for what they charge. Very overpriced overall.
I have rated Cafe Moto a 4 due to the following: 1. No where is perfect so a 5 would be the best I would ever rate anyone. 2. The venue was great, the service excellent but ty lost a point because of the cashiers refusal to split our bill. I would have understood if there were a number of us, but to refuse to simply half a bill and accept two payments left me very embarrassed as I only had a card as did my mate. He wore the charge and then I ave to go through the effort of transferring my payment to him. Totally avoidable.
Very cool atmosphere and friendly staff... Breakfast was very good. I would recommend this place for a Sunday Breakfast or Brunch. Parking out back is good.
Thoroughly loved it great food and service all 4 if us loved our meal the only thing we felt it was extremely loud being extremely busy and music being played
Went to Cafe Moto for Mother's Day breakfast. Have driven past many times and wondered what it was like. I loved it! Beautiful food, reasonably priced. Cool setting and great service. The coffee was 100% on point. Would definitely recommend it.
Very friendly waitress. Groovy fit-out. Unfortunately my poached eggs were over cooked (a basic technique for most chefs I would think) and my bread was in-cut-able. Others on the table ordered the dish with eggs and chile...apparently too much chile. Coffee pretty good. Worst complaint: my husband's dish came out after all others on the table were finished.
After seeing the terrific band the Jackson 4 last week, was back again tonight for dinner. Food was excellent, the lime & mint spritzer was different, VG & refreshing and the 'dirty chai' (chai with a shot of coffee) was also different & a great melding of the sweet & the bitter, highly recommended!......and lovely friendly staff (thanks Steph !) in a quirkly venue with character. Highly recommended !!!
Great atmosphere, hearty food and attentive staff. Had the Burnout Burger - it was huge and delicious! The chips were crunchy and soft inside - all nicely presented with the chips in a little steel basket. We'll be back.
The food was great and the staff were lovely. Lovely atmosphere. However, breakfast was a little pricey. I would go back, but probably not regularly.
I found the item ordered to be satisfactory, however service was slow. It took 45min to be served a bacon and egg breakfast. And the lunch menu has been so reduced that we (table of six ) found it difficult to make a selection. The cafe was half full at lunchtime which I found odd. We interacted with several of the staff during our visit and believe them to be the lifeblood of the establishment - well done to them. from Bill, Helen & gang.
