Friendly atmosphere for families, friends, dogs and children. So many spaces to choose from depending on the mood. Awesome bar team, the bistro staff are friendly and hard working and have decent prices for simple pub food. For us the overall experience at the Carlisle is a winner.

Our visit to the Carlisle Castle bistro was very enjoyable, great food, family friendly and friendly service.
The goat curry was perfect - fragrant and tasty, spicy but not hot and the pappadam made me rethink my give or take attitude to them. It too was very tasty. Highly recommend
the pub has a few separate rooms so it feels cosy even though they were able to accommodate a large group. a great selection of cocktails and beers at reasonable prices
Great meal with our puppy! was a friday night well spent.
Friendly pub that attracts down-to-earth crowd. Somewhat pet friendly. Dogs allowed in beer garden area. Food is okay albeit a tad overpriced, generic and not always as fresh as you’d expect.
a fantastic afternoon was had by all of us there..! Highly Recommended!
