Great food, cold beer and friendly staff, in all a great afternoon

Great staff and very accommodating also a lot of variety.

Food was delicious, staff were friendly and wine was really nice

Food was good but waiting 50 minutes for our meal when they weren't that busy was disappointing!! After initial drinks order we were never asked again for further drinks. No apology for meals taking so long to come out and no one asked how the meals were or if we wanted dessert/coffees. Need to improve service as it lets down how good the food is!!!

We were enthusiastic about dining here as we’ve seen the venue on previous visits. We were just a bit disappointed with the butter served frozen and it was a bit cold in the restaurant. Great steak, mediocre chicken wings.

It's absolutely worth the slightly higher price at Carmel's as you will not be disappointed. We had the marinated lamb rump and my partner had the steak. It was all fantastic.

The food was lovely. But is was extremely expensive for the casual atmosphere and cruising on offer. We waited far too long for dinner to be served.

Our food was beautiful and fresh, and they were happy to accommodate any changes/additions to our meal. Definitely a McLaren Vale favourite.

This was a celebration of two Birthdays and an engagement. The staff were friendly and attentive. Meals were served promptly we had a really lovely lunch. They also checked how everything was going. Will visit Carmel's again.

The food was sensational. The ribs fell apart & the sauce was divine.

Party of 4 people. I had the vegetarian burger it was amazing. My two sons had a carmels burger and ribs, which they smashed through and my husband the fish. Great service, toasty warm inside and delicious food. Highly recommend!

Food was very tasty, hot and well presented, with a big selection to choose from. There was a good selection of well priced wines. Seats were a bit hard on the rear end ! ( maybe provide cushions for patrons ?). Service was a bit of a slow and waiters didn't know which courses we had. Overall the restaurant provided good food and wine at a reasonable price.

Was great the mains were a little messed up as they bought out the wrong meals but they apologised and shortly bought the correct ones the service was absolutely perfect one of the waitress was so attentive and friendly will definitely go back would give it 5 stars

Pleasant experience, nice venue. Friendly attentive staff. Amazing slow cooked pork ribs!! Good size meals. $26 gourmet burger + bacon $29 with the heart of an iceberg lettuce...not exactly what I call gourmet

Fantastic! Will definitely be back nloves the bread with flavoured butter. BBQ chicken pizza was delicious. Carmels special came out a little colder than the others but no complaints

The staff were very sweet and accommodating. Our main meal took over an hour to come out and the meat was very over cooked. The meal was lovely and appreciate that it came out nice and hot. We love Carmels and will be back
