Quality of the lamb used in 2 of our dishes was awful...very tough and chewy with a lot of gristle and fat . Very disappointing when lamb dishes are so expensive.

The experience at Carmel's Bar and Grill was excellent, we booked online half an hour before going.

Great food, staff very friendly and helpful. Would definitely dine there again.

Food took a long time to come out, bout an 1hr and 15. Meat was very dry in my burger and my Dads. Service was friendly

Lovely restaurant, we hadn't been here for a few years and we enjoyed our meal, friendly service and quick timing even though the did have a walkin party of 21 people!

Food and service were both excellent!! The servings are big... especially the fried ice cream... but very very nice meal... thank you!!!

We were welcomed at the door by happy and helpful staff. We were given time to read the menu before ordering. No pressure. Food came out quickly and lots of it. Thete were 15 of us and meals were out at the same time. Great atmosphere. Thanks

It was disappointing we have been there several times and enjoyed it so I booked online to take my husband to celebrate his birthday. Our table had not been reserved then we were directed to a table which hadn't been cleaned so the girl had to clean it our starters were nice I had the seafood duo the squid was nice but the barramundi was so over cooked the crumbs were just short of burnt it was the same with my husband's portehouse schnitzel they both looked like they had been forgotten in the frying consequently both were very dry it was not up to their usual standard

Wasn't happy, took them ages to bring a menu out, then came back in 2 minutes wanting our order, no service at all while waiting for our meal, and the meal wasn't fantastic either.

Definitely will come back and recommend to friends. Wagyu steak is pretty good.

Food was good, wait times were unacceptable, we had to wait 1.5 hours for our meals. Apologies were not forthcoming until I spoke to a member of staff. Some very rowdy customers in there tonight, not really Carmels fault, but we had children in our party.

Best service I have had in ages. They were amazing! Kind, thoughtful and on the ball.

We both had the pulled pork dish, which was delicious (lose the nuts off the salad though). A bit disappointed that there was only 2 very expensive steak dishes, as their title is bar and GRILL?

Service was pretty poor, drinks almost came out with our mains with less then 20 people dining at the time. Food was ok but not worth going back.

It was very cold, the freezing breeze was coming through the gap of the door, otherwiseatmosphere nice. Foodwise very expensive for average meal. Steak was fatty and undercookered, hot chips $3 for very tiny little bowl, salad ok, desserts amazing though. Last time we were there it was delicious thats why I brought friends back, a bit disappointed this time sorry

The good: opens at 5pm where all other dinner joints open later at 6pm (on Sundays) Friendly front staff and waitress Car parks available Food was overpriced - vegetarian burger cost me $26 with chips and onion rings. Yes it was huge, but quality over quantity in this case, onion rings were soggy, the tomatoes and cucumbers looked sad and patty was dry. My boyfriend’s steak was overlooked, the mashed potatoes were lumpy.

Ordered house dips and bread fro started. It was just plonked down in front of us not telling us what the the dips were. They tasted ok. For mains my husband had a burger which he saw as ok nothing to go out of his way for whereas I had pulled pork which seemed over cooked and sweet. Then it was placed ontop of some potatoes which was soggy

Have been there stacks of times. Always leave very satisfied. Portions are huge and food is great. Good value for money. Highly recommend.
