Their space in Penrith is located on Riley Street and provides an ideal backdrop for any special occasion or for simply, a cosy and relaxing meal with your nearest and dearest. There’s truly nothing better for us than sitting back with a glass of your favourite wine and tucking into some of the best Thai food you’ll find anywhere. The interior of Chilli Jam in Sydney’s Penrith is the perfect blend of elegant meets casual dining, and is complete with chic wooden tables and low hanging lights encased in thatched round boxes with plenty of greenery adding to the charm of this Thai haven. The food though, as you’d expect is one where Chilli Jam really shines. We recommend beginning your evening with several starters to share, such as oriental Pacific Rock oysters, grilled scallops with chilli-lime dressing and prawn and chicken dumplings served with chilli and sweet soy sauce.
Following on, tuck into one of Chilli Jam’s salads, like the wagyu Thai beef salad loaded with mint, shallots and a refreshing lime dressing or the famous papaya salad with your choice of pork or chicken marinated in a tasty bbq marinade. There’s also several street food selections, like the salt and pepper squid served with sweet chilli sauce, or go for something classic like the always-tasty pad Thai brimming with bean sprouts, tofu, shallots and crushed peanuts. With plenty more exceptional dishes as well, the fact of the matter is you’re just going to have to book a table and discover them all for yourself, and that sounds pretty great to us.
