Food was nice and reasonably priced. Service was excellent and restaurant ambience was just right. Not our first time and won’t be our last.

Got lost on the walk home after so much Rose wine, and was rescued by my son. Had a great time and enjoyed my talk with the boss. I will be back quite soon with a friend, Cheers Margaret

Some dishes OK but protein (bug) in the salad not good. Thai green curry more like grey sludge. Banana fritter selected for desert only added to an overall disappointing meal.

Always a lovely relaxed experience here. Food was yummy and excellent serving sizes. They cater so well for large group gatherings as well, and the noise level was quiet and well suited to a friend who suffers anxiety.

The food here is amazing. My family and I would always go to Victoria Street in Richmond, but once we found this local restaurant, it became our new favourite. Very high-quality, authentic, flavourful food. Highly recommend.

We both enjoyed the Laksa flavours and the level of 'heat' which was mild to medium and the waiter explained. The portion was too large and we couldnt manage to finish. Thank you ChuManChu for a lovely evening

Our local restaurant very enjoyable with good food, great service just a fun night with family & friends. It just an easy place to relax in.

Place got potential but very few meat pieces or duck piece e.g. in duck curry and just a few super slim unnoticeable tofu pieces in respective dishes!

The service was fantastic ..accommodated me as I was early. Food was delightful ..and no msg in anything ..will be a regular from now on

Food was delicious as always. A little confusion re meals as my dish was served well before my husbands. I think they thought we were sharing!

The description of the dishes was not what was received. Frozen vegetables in the mee goreng rice dish & tasteless, the prawn hokkien noodles were saturated in so much overpowering sauce, it was inedible. Service was non existent, staff look unhappy & definitely unattentive. Far too expensive for what was delivered. Would not recommend and will not go back.

The beef massaman curry had 3 pieces of beef and didn't taste like massaman. The lemongrass tea was very weak and was just hot water.

We have been coming to Chumanchu for a few years now and we have always found the food and service to be consistently good. This time we brought friends and felt embarrassed as we have to go up to the desk to ask for our drinks and again to ask for our order to be taken. The restaurant was not particularly busy, so we were surprised by the poor service as it was the same wait staff as usual. The curry laksa was also not of the same quality as previously either. We were disappointed.

Staff were very friendly and helped us choose some delicious options from the extensive menu. Lovely atmosphere!

Quite disappointed with the Vietnamese coleslaw with pork and prawn; really had to look for the pork and prawn! While I like coleslaw with so little protein it was really very boring. The server was great. The music was too loud.

The Pad Thai meal I ordered had chunks of uncooked noodles stuck together. There were about five chunks that I ate but left some uncooked bits on my plate, along with the overcooked prawns. The Pad See Ewe meal only had small pieces of meat. A little disappointed given previous vegetarian meals ordered on previous occasions were delicious.
