A haven for the pizza loving population of Coburg, this trendy joint serves up some of the best woodfired offerings this side of Melbourne. With its hip decor, menu of Italian classics, and a sleek courtyard dining area, it is no wonder that Cornerstone Pizzeria is a neighbourhood favourite. To find out what all of the fuss is about, book a table and head over to Harding Street to experience it all for yourself!
With exposed brick walls and industrial-chic decor, Cornerstone Pizzeria is one of Coburg’s most stylish haunts. The indoor restaurant has a relaxed and cosy vibe while the outdoor courtyard area is perfect for some summertime al fresco dining. Pizza addicts will be delighted with the array on offer over at Cornerstone Pizzeria, with choices ranging from classics like the margherita to the spicy Mexicana (pomodoro, fior di latte, hot salami, spanish onions and roasted red peppers). Go veg with the ortolanta (pomodoro, mozzarella bianca, eggplant, mushrooms, zucchini and roast pumpkin) or for a meaty feast opt for the quattro carni ( pomodoro, fior di latte, leg ham, spicy casalinga sausage, prosciutto and salami). Alongside pizza, at Melbourne’s Cornerstone Pizzeria you’ll find some other Italian favourites, from rustic pasta dishes to meat and seafood options. Top it off with some tiramisu or the vanilla bean panna cotta! Popular for both lunch and dinner, to guarantee a table at Cornerstone Pizzeria over in Coburg, making a booking in advance is recommended.
Excellent food & service my kids favourite place for authentic Italian cuisine. Lovely little place that makes you feel like your eating in Italy !.
The service was prompt and courteous, the food delicious and good portion size (very generous so keep up the good work). The food for the five diners was served at the same time i.e.. no one had to wait while others were eating. Prices were fair, but good value.
Great service, delicious food, reasonably priced. Great experience! Party of 5 and we all had good quality meals served. Great amostphere will be back. AAA+
Great service & food. Great atmosphere! The staff are always happy to help. Family friendly but also a great place to go with your girlfriends.
We have been to Cornestone before and decided to book this time around because it was a special occasion and we know it's a busy place. Booked online through the restaurant's website and received confirmation of booking from the restaurant via a phone call. Our table was waiting when we arrived and staff were friendly. Food was ordered with no problems. Food took a little longer than expected to arrive, however it was a busy night. Food was excellent with none of us having any major negative remarks. We had a range of food including, pizza, risotto, fish and pasta. The fish was delicious - it was a grilled snapper- and the risotto had generous amounts of sundried tomato. The ravioli with spinach and ricotta was tasty with a rich Napoli sauce. The pizzas we had were also delicious with a thin (but not to thin) base/crust and tasty toppings. The garlic focaccia had a little too much garlic for our liking but it didn't deter us from eating it. If we hadn't already planned dessert afterwards, we would have also ordered dessert - maybe next time as we will be going back!
We have been to Cornerstone Pizzeria a few times now, 5 to be exact, and the food and service is great! This has now become one of my favorite places to dine at. great with a group of friends or just for 2.
Great place to come with a big group - menu has a lot of options. I had the clam spaghetti which was a touch on the salty side but still delicious. On the night we came they were short staffed but apologised for the slow service. I have been here previously and service is always fast and good so this was a one-off I think. Overall this is one of faves in the neighbourhood - yummy food and nice atmosphere.
Easy, relaxed, affordable and delicious meal yet again at Cornerstone Pizzeria with the family. Great Service. Especially love the breadth of menu-something there to keep every family member happy. The Oldfield Family Brunswick
Food is delicious. Arancini yummy. Girlfriend ordered specials dish but didn't like the taste (flavour very strong) they were quick to offer an alternative but she was full from entree so they took it off the bill. Only fault I would say is the noise factor. Don't quite understand the whole concrete / brick hard surfaces and metal chairs of new places. Makes it very difficult to communicate even in small groups and cornerstone always busy.
Wonderful food, wonderful service!! We have been there before and we'll be there again. The floor staff were faultless - asked for drinks as soon as we arrived and came to our table promptly to take orders (a few times bc we were chatting too much amongst ourselves to look at the menu!). Looking forward to our next visit.
