There is certainly no shortage of options at Dagwood Bar and Kitchen on Market Street. This funky spot right in the heart of Wollongong’s city centre is, on one hand, one of Wollongong’s leading contemporary burger joints, with wagyu beef or double cheese and bacon burgers whose size, presentation and taste can hang with the very best in the city. Then again, Dagwood is just as impressive as a quality Korean and Japanese restaurant, with misoyaki salmon, Korean pork ribs, a donkatsu burger and pan-seared tofu with kimchi, crispy enoki and fried wakame. Really, the delicious international food offerings never stop – from lime and chilli prawn tacos to New England-style clam chowder and crackers – and you hardly get a second to realise that Dagwood Bar and Kitchen has one of the most impressive rum, whisky, tequila and cocktail menus in Wollongong.
Great combination of food and flavour. The cocktails are amazing and the burgers are ridiculous. I know it's meant to be a bit dark but it could have a touch more light
