There is certainly no shortage of options at Dagwood Bar and Kitchen on Market Street. This funky spot right in the heart of Wollongong’s city centre is, on one hand, one of Wollongong’s leading contemporary burger joints, with wagyu beef or double cheese and bacon burgers whose size, presentation and taste can hang with the very best in the city. Then again, Dagwood is just as impressive as a quality Korean and Japanese restaurant, with misoyaki salmon, Korean pork ribs, a donkatsu burger and pan-seared tofu with kimchi, crispy enoki and fried wakame.
