Dough Pizza Northbridge is the place to head if you go weak at the knees at the thought of pizza. Located along William Street, this Perth spot specialises in delicious woodfired pizzas and is inspired by the aromas, flavours and craftsmanship of pizza found in Naples. All that means that the pizzas at Dough are some of the best in the city. The menu is bursting with different toppings to try, 23 in fact, and you’ll also find pasta, antipasti and shared dishes so everyone is catered for. Oh, and you’ll want to keep a close eye out for the Nutella calzone filled with walnuts and vanilla gelato… If all this sounds up your alley, book a table at Dough Pizza for your fill of delicious Italian fare. You won’t be disappointed.
To begin at Dough Pizza in Northbridge, let’s just say you’ll be needing to arrive quite hungry. We love starting things off with a few plates to share, and the polenta bites with puttanesca; arancini balls still with Bolognese ragu, red pepper pesto, rocket and pecorino; chilli mussels and antipasti platter brimming with cured meats and cheeses go down an absolute treat at Dough Pizza Perth. We also recommend you wash all this down with an aperitivo or two – the Aperol spritz is one our favourites... just saying.
Following this, it’s time for pizza. As we said, there are quite a lot of options on offer at Dough Pizza Northbridge. If a red base is what you’re after, keep an eye out for the parmigiana topped with crumbled Italian sausage and eggplant; the marinara with prawns, cherry tomatoes and rocket or the classic Napoli topped with anchovies. We also love the bianche pizzas and the quattro formaggi and Ortolana topped with eggplant, pumpkin and cherry tomatoes both tick all the right boxes. With pasta and risotto selections and a dolce menu well worth a look, you’ll be wanting to pay Dough Pizza on William Street a visit sooner rather than later. This Perth Italian restaurant does fill up though so reservations ahead of time are advised.
