Aiming to capture the essence of Turkish dining, Efendi’s Turkish Cuisine’s appeal goes way beyond just the delicious cuisine on offer, boasting an al fresco dining area and entertainment on the weekends. Feast on an array of Turkish delights, from mezze plates to chargrilled meats and seafood and traditional Turkish pizzas. Some of our favourite dishes include the kuzu kapama (slow-cooked lamb shanks in a vegetable sauce with carrot and onion served with pilav rice and salad) and the vegetarian guvec (a traditional clay pot casserole with eggplant, zucchini, onion, capsicum, mushroom and carrot). Conclude your meal with Efendi’s Turkish Cuisine’s homemade baklava. To guarantee a table at this lively restaurant located on Bunker Road in Brisbane’s Victoria Point, make a reservation in advance!
Friendly staff who made the extra effort to cater for our fussy 11 year old. A little bit pricey for what we got and we were disappointed that for a banquet or "feast" that we didn't have an over-abundance of food left over like other Turkish restaurants we've been to. Otherwise the food was nice.
