Every time I go to the restaurant it's amazing food and environment

The meals themselves were very enjoyable and the service was excellent. The only downside would be that the prices of the menu items were somewhat inflated for what we received and we based our menu selections on your website, only to find that many items were not available! The website menu needs updating badly. Booking online however was basic and straightforward.

Restaurant had a decent menu with good choices. Had the Lamb Shank, the meat just fell off the bone. Delicious. Cheesecake desert was also well worth it. While the restaurant probably needs a little updating re chairs/tables/decor, it is worth a visit - particularly if you are a guest at the hotel.

On a cold and rainy night the Firehouse Restaurant was a choice for dinner. As we hadn’t been there for some years, the decor had changed along with a great menu to choose from. We ordered a grill platter which was plenty for 2 people and delicious! The service was great and friendly, but parking was a little difficult as the Firehouse Restaurant is located within a hotel complex.

Breakfast with a party of 5 New Year’s Day. Staff were helpful. Small smorgasbord with a continental option. Great table service removing used dishes and constantly cleaning the food buffet area. We will be back.

The Ribeye steak was the best I've ever eaten and the peppercorn sauce was close to it. Chicken Pasta was also very good Food was great but the wait staff uniforms were very untidy.

We've been here many times over the years but gave up last year. The place and Mels were tired. This visit was amazing.The new menu was great. It was rewarding to have a good serve of beautifully cooked vegetables instead of salad served with the main. We will be back again

Great service. Staff were amazing. The food is very well presented.

Not a great menu selection. People that had Fish and Chips or Sea Food Basket were happy. Mixed Grill was sizeable but described as rubbery. Chick Parmi was described as ok. Curry Plate appeared to be like it was created by someone who had heard of such a thing but never actually experienced it. Dahl was the wrong type of lentils, not adequately cooked and probably 10% dahl and 90% very watery liquid. Butter Chick was cold as in below room temperature cold not just not hot enough. Also very watery. There was also a pea and cheese dish which sounded weird but turned out to be the only thing edible. Sticky Date pudding is normal server warm - mine was cold. There was also a spillage incident involving an afergato. Accidents happen but it was poorly handled with the staff having to be prompted to replace the coffee and baileys instead of them ensuring what they served was complete after they spilled it. Not a place I'd go back to.

This is one of our favourite restaurants, we go to weekly. The only thing that spoils the ambiance of the ‘Firehouse’ is the repetitive loud banging door. IT is either the door to the kitchen or, spoils the experience.

Upset about how the GST is applied. We cannot tell which items are being taxed.

It was a lovely catch up with some friends and the waitress was really lovely and friendly.

On our first visit, we had the chicken parmi + a steak sandwich - both excellent. On our second visit, we shared a mixed grill - excellent, especially the piece of scotch fillet - it was wonderful. It's our favourite steak. However, this time, we had an entre each - ordinary. We ordered the mixed grill again. It was almost cold when it came out, especially the steak was cold and not very tasty - not at all like the steak we had experienced before. We will return next week and try the salmon. Thank you.

Kangaroo was the best we have had. Mei Goreng my son thought a touch salty. Chicken Parmigiana was a touch dry. Everything else, entrees, desert were great. Mood and music perfect. Very helpful, friendly staff. Will be back.

The service was excellent and so was the food. Great prices and decent sized servings. They even provided a puzzle book for the kids.

We were greeted by warm friendly staff and made very welcome. They were very helpful as we had a few fussy eaters and all were accommodated . The food and service were both of a very high standard.
