About Foglia Di Fico

Foglia Di Fico Melbourne is Italian dining at its absolute best. Located in the heart of the Melbourne CBD, this opulent and stylish restaurant is centred around a menu of fresh pasta, freshly baked bread, lashings of olive oil and local produce. Essentially, everything an Italian restaurant should be. You’ll find exceptional Italian dishes made using only the best ingredients, including taglioni with blue swimmer crab cooked with garlic, parsley and olive oil; gnocchi duck ragu and an outstanding braised baby goat served on soft, runny polenta, alongside a carefully designed menu of craft beers and imported wines. Everything here is beautifully presented and it’s truly a sensory dining experience you won’t be forgetting. Located on La Trobe Terrace, take a trip to Italy at Foglia Di Fico, but be sure to book well in advance.

Went there on a quiet Sunday night and it felt like time stood still, (in a positive way). A calm feeling washed over us and we enjoyed the incredibly fresh food, with great flavour. Despite eating an entree and a main, the food did not leave us feeling too full and that is the sign of good Italian.

The food was exquisite, with fresh ingredients, cooked to perfection. The bread, cooked in house and accompanied by fabulous warm oil, was warm and crusty. The meals were beautifully presented and our waiter was efficient, charming and helpful. We will certainly be returning as this restaurant eclipses others we have been patronising.

Great service and food. The gnocchi was delicious and our server was able to recommend a great wine. Will be back for sure to try the rest of the menu
