This is our 2nd time visiting frank and blanco and we were a little disappointed this time. Food wasn't as nice not much flavor or spice. Not sure if they have changed their menu but we were disappointed this time.
Love this place! The ambiance, the staff were so helpful and friendly, the toilets are so fun, and the food is delicious! I dream about those tortilla chips!!
The venue and staff were very nice but the food was just disappointing!! The Tacos weren't fresh, seemed to be re-heated and the guacamole was so small for the massive plate of corn chips we had to ask for another. Not to mention how tasteless the guacamole was, the Sangria was the only okay thing. Overall it was not good!! I was so excited to try it too :(
Yummy food, the cocktails are great. I highly recommend the Blanco Sangria. We had the $55 per person chefs choice between 4 of us. Awesome selection and a great option to try lots of different items on the menu.
Really nice food, wasn't many people in the restaurant when I was went however the service was abit slow. Overall really nice, my partner loved the fish taco :)
Frank and Blanco had Amazing food and very Friendly service. The atmosphere was chilled and very cool. Loved the custom drinks created for us. I will definitely becoming here again!
Food was good and very filling and the service from the girls was amazing. Really enjoyed it and will go again for sure. Thank you
This place turned out to be an unexpected treat in little old Picton. It had an interesting menu and was reasonably priced. Highly recommend the cerviche
too loud in there, couldnt talk to my partner without a 'huh?' or a 'beg yours?'..cushion the walls or something..also ceviche didnt seem moist (or more correctly marinated) enough. Staff were real good though.
Menu is very small and out of three share plates we ordered for the main meal there was an element missing from each one. Very disappointed.
Had a great time. The staff were so lovely and accommodating, always smiling which makes such a difference between a good and a bad experience. The food was good - I want the recipe for the black eyed peas lol! Oh and I also want the wall mural done in my lounge room haha. Overall we all enjoyed ourselves. It was a little bit too much salt and spice for me with most things on the menu, but that is not your problem - let's face it, its a Mexican restaurant lol. But I managed to find some things to eat. The only thing I would change is that maybe there needs to be a detailed description of just what things are. Its all quite alien to most people and you have no idea what you are getting - or maybe a pic of what it is. I had no idea I was ordering a burger lol. Otherwise, fabulous.
Fantastic food. The Cargado Fries were a highlight. The Tacos terrific and the desserts are well worth a go - the Chilli Chocolate Mouse - yum. The special was a delicious lime cheese cake. Highly recommended. We'll be back!
Service was good, as was the quality of the food. However the tacos were not hot & the plates they were served on was cold.
The restaurant was cold, they had run out of bourbon (even though there is a bottleshop next door). The service and food was very average unfortunately.
Fantastic flavoursome food and brilliant margaritas. Super friendly staff. The soft shell crab tacos and chilli chocolate mousse were my favourites! Great spot for a date night without the kids.
This restaurant has a good variety of alcoholic beverages. There was a variety of tacos to choose from, very small servings, overpriced in my opinion. I wouldn't choose to come back.
The menu is not big but the food is not your average Mexican - it's more interesting. A great range of starters with fresh hot homemade corn chip strips and guacamole that didn't look quite fresh but tasted good. The "black eyed peas" dish looked nothing like described but tasted better than it looked! There are no beef tacos or nachos on the menu but the chef did make a pulled beef taco for my husband on request which was "delicious". The choice of tacos included vegetarian, crispy chicken, pulled pork, soft-shelled crab and fish. The "taco trio" of your choice is a good option. The sav blanc "sangria" with pineapple juice was refreshing but just tasted like spritzy pineapple juice. The beer and red wine were fine. 2 starters, 4 mains, a jug of sangria, 2 beers and a glass of red wine between 4 people was $150. The experience was interesting but we are not culinary connoisseurs and it's a long way from home (40km from Campbelltown) and the restaurant was uncomfortably cold inside so we probably wouldn't go again.
Waited a while for food even though wasnt that busy. They state that their food is "gluten free" on the menu, Food is cooked in the same oil as food containing gluten so my kids didnt eat anything as they are celiac. When food did come out was ok.
Food was cold and very obviously pre cooked and reheated. Some of it was quite nice apart from that. Noisy place but service was pretty good
Great food and atmosphere. Music was a little loud, but they were happy to turn it down when we asked them too. Menu is great.
Felt the restaurant under performed this evening.. Some of The food was not put together with love tonight! Entrees were excellent and sangria was wonderful!
Quick service and staff were friendly. Meals were delicious and adequate sized. It's nice to have some variety of cuisine in the local area. I would definitely recommend.
Beautiful food, lots of flavour, great drinks - the rose sangria was really refreshing & fast service! I will definitely be back, and would definitely recommend
It was very loud in the restaurant so we moved outside, where we were told we couldn't take our drinks because they weren't licenced outdoors. The staff were friendly and the food was ok
Good service. Good food. Friendly staff. Would have liked to see a bit more veg or salad on the plate but maybe you are expected to order a salad as well if you want veg. Even a bit more garnish as lacked a little presentation. Noise level increased later in the night.
Fast efficient service. Great food, well priced. Staff friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Was down from Sunshine Coast and our daughter has been telling us how great the place was. I was not disappointed.
Serving sizes were small. Deserts were dry. Churros was very dry. Meals arrived at different times. Mains and tapas dishes did not appear to be value for money. Choice of mains was limited. Service was slow.
Took a long time to get served. Tried to order tortilla chips with guacamole, they were out of guacamole (um, walk to the IGA across the road and buy some avocados??) tried to order the Chefs dish, sorry we are out of salmon- we didn't receive our seafood order. I'm a pescatarian so there was only the vegetarian tacos that I could really order.... Having said that they were beautiful and I had 6 of them. Was a little disappointed but might give them one more go.
Amazing food, great ambiance and great service at a reasonable price. Will definitely be back! It was Very easy to make a reservation through their website.
Been to the restaurant before and last visit was disappointing. The service was very slow although it was Valentines Day we have been there on busier nights. Only has a limited menu and some of the items still weren't available. Forgot to come back and take our order after been seated and over 30 minutes before we could order a drink. Not a lot of local restaurant so hopefully just a once off time.
the food is nice everyone is nice really good place to eat the valentines day is romanic of the year frank & blanco is the best ever
Food was amazing and service faultless. This restaurant is an absolute gem. Great cocktail menu to boot as well for anyone looking for a lazy Sunday sangria
Lovely fresh Mexican, beautiful wine, great service, nice atmosphere. Service was great and the booking was easy online, will be going back soon for sure!
Loved this place! Great hidden gem. Must try the Pork quesadilla, it was phenomenal! The cocktail list is also fun and interesting. Family friendly too which is a plus.
Enjoyed our meal but didn't feel customer service was up to it's usual standard at lunchtime. The menu has changed somewhat and found one of the new menu items lacked flavour but still the best lunch time eatery in Picton.
A small but cosy place for dinner. We absolutely loved the tacos and will definitely be back for more. The soft shell crab was our top favourite! Followed by the vegetarian and chicken options.
I have been to Frank and Blanco a few times and each time the food has been great and the service is friendly. The meals are a great size to share with friends.
Had an absolute lovely night simple good quality food at a great price what more could anyone want, beautiful atmosphere will be coming back again.
Great restaurant. Delicious menu. The soft tacos are yum. Yummy cocktails. Margarita was so good. Very friendly staff. Went out of their way to check all was going well. We would definitely come back.
We have been a few times now and it's always great food, service and atmosphere. And you can't beat Tuesday night for $5 tacos too!
