As it stands, hotpot and BBQ are bywords of Chinese and Korean cuisines, to name just a couple, and make very happy bedfellows when it comes to Asian dining in Melbourne. That said, you don’t often find a restaurant that offers both, and you certainly don’t find many restaurants that offer the two culinary styles plus a menu packed with Asian fusion innovation. But, in a nutshell of a name, this is exactly what’s on the cards at Fusion Hotpot & BBQ over in Southbank. The format at this City Road venue is largely an all-you-can-eat affair, with a cornucopia of fresh seafood, meats and vegetables working their way into the broth and onto the griddle, all for a great price. Cool down your reactor afterwards with Fusion Hotpot & BBQ’s range of ice creams and sweet soups!
It's all about the hotpot. Good portion size and lots of fresh prawns. Entree and dessert are very average. Fun watching your pancake cook on the self serve machine. Good service and clean restaurant.
The food was great. There were a variety of different options to choose. The price was a bit costly and the service was quite slow. However, overall was excellent.
It was yummy tasty food, perfect for the cooler weather. There is a great range and choices, suitable for anyone to go and eat there.
Dining space was really narrow and it was little bit difficult to have a meal comfortably. Otherwise food was good.
Lots of food and very fresh , good service and clean restaurant, highly recommended.
