Best Indian food and experience in town. Thoroughly enjoyed the food and service, and look forward to going back again for another treat for my family.

Great food, good service, good value. We were rushed out of the restaurant at the end of our meal but everything else was really good.

Authentic and beautiful Indian tastes, efficient and friendly staff. Great at accommodating coeliac disease sufferers and always great value for money! Highly recommended for couples and larger groups

Main course curries taste is not good, below average however entree were fine. Chicken hot vindaloo is supposed to be too hot but not spicy at all

The restaurant staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and flexible. They made our birthday party so much fun! The food is always amazing. I highly recommend Gaylord's to all my friends!!

Exceptional service and good indian food for the local pallet. Beautiful art decor. Toilets needs a make over, dated and no ventilation. Overall experience 6.5/10

The decor and service of this restaurant acceptable but the food was far below normal Indian standards in taste and texture and the price exorbitant

Great authentic Indian - will definitely be returning. The Gay Lord special was a personal favourite - the Naans and Lamb dishes are also especially good

Food was great. Had a group of 10. Was a warm day air-conditioning could have been turned up a bit more and cocktails weren't the greatest but overall pleasant experience.

Great service with waiters collecting our order very quickly. Food was served very fast and loved that we could change why was in the banquet.

Perfect as always. The staff are always wonderful, friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is great and the food is fantastic, never disappointed when we eat there.

The service was slow. They had to be reminded to bring our rice. We were early and it was only half full for a Saturday night. Food was average, not as flavoursome as some other Indian restaurants in town. But the Kashmiri naan was nice and so was the malai kofta. I have been here before and it used to be superb. Standards have dropped.

Awesome as always. Excellent ambience and food with light music. This was my fifth visit with work mates in the last 6 months. Will be back again.

Lovely food and great service. The only downside is that there is no aircon, so having a curry there on a summer's day can be quite a hot experience!

Pleasent service. We had the lunch time special. Food was good but small in quantities. Large place lacking a little in atmosphere. But overall ok.

The staff were very polite and accommodating. Very well organised as there were a large group of us. Preorder was not necessary and changes were accepted at short notice.

The staff were friendly the daychore was typically Indian and quite nice, but the lamb was tough and the gravey seemed thin and the capsicum wasn't cooked for long.

Good service, tasty food at reasonable prices. Restaurant is located in heart of Melbourne CBD. The lamb cutlets were sooooo delicious & I will be having them again on my return.

Food was great and reasonably priced. Service very slow. Took 20 minutes to even have drink order taken. Second bottle of wine just plonked on table...had to ask for ice bucket.

Food was flavourful and came out a reasonable amount of time after ordering. Service was ok, a bit awkward at times but the staff were very friendly.

Fantastic food, atmosphere and service. Perfect for big group (I booked ahead for a Saturday night and the table was ready when we got there) as well as a date night. Great location, very close to CBD bars and public transport. I would highly recommend this gem!

Excellent friendly service and great food. We were a party of 6. We were greeted and taken to our table and offered drinks. And asked what food we would like. They were very accommodating to alter foods to our liking. The food was delicious.

Always a good place to take a big group. Had more than enough food for 12 of us and didn't cost the earth. The palak paneer is the best.

Food was wonderful but the restaurant was extremely noisy. We had to ask to be moved to a corner to try to talk to each other.

Typical oily smell inside - doesn't feel like in a restaurant. Staff argues unnecessarily when being questioned about the food quality instead providing a solution - engages in an awful way. Food tastes so so... Can be a choice if no other place is available to go for food. Very disappointed to what has been portrayed in the online advertisements and promos. Cheers
