Love this place for a quick meal or snack, or even just a coffee in my own quiet space. They have simple, yet fresh and tasty dishes, and an assortment of delicious cakes to choose from. I frequent Gourmet Girl and also like that there is the option to sit outside on a leafy corner, weather permitting.

Relaxing surroundings far from the madding crowd yet easily accessible by public transport (close to Laburnum train station) and with ample 2-hour parking. Good variety of choice in the all-day breakfast menu and the lunch menu. Dishes are well-presented, delicious and reasonably priced. Variety of healthy fruit juices, wine, beer and hot drinks. Excellent service. My favourite restaurant in the Blackburn area.

Main course very good but came to the table quite cold. Dessert would have been better with a dollop of cream, but was just served with bottled chocolate topping - yuk!

Excellent service and fabulous food. We loved our brunch and will definitely be back. I've been before and the corn fritters are becoming a firm favourite of mine!

Staff were friendly and attentive, the food was great and the change of menu also noticed. I had altered the booking to be inside due to the inclement weather and this was not an issue.

We had excellent service, attentive staff, and a lovely range of menu items. We all said we would return. A lovely cafe stared indoors then had our coffees outside.

I was recommended GG by a couple I had never met before, decided to give it a try, boy, am I glad I did. A warm and cozy atmosphere tucked away in a small shopping strip. We went for dinner on a Friday night, easy parking, great service. GG has an extensive wine list, but let us BYO with a small corkage fee. We tried 6 different dishes , not including desserts....all were scrumtous. Try the feta cheese in bee's juice, then you will want them again for dessert! : )

Lovely setting in amongst a quiet suburb on a sunny day, but was disappointed by the service and found the food to be nothing special.

Chicken Tandoori was burnt. Bruschetta cold and oily. Toast thin and difficult to cut. Table wasn't reserved as requested on line. Took ages for the waitress to take our order and clear away plates.

Great food, lively place, staff attentive but not overly so. Booked a reserved table online through Quandoo and table all set with name on it ready to go. Recommended booking as this is a popular eating place with not a great number of tables inside. The eggs benedict looked fantastic

We had a very nice meal thanks and the costs were reasonable. The only trouble was we couldn't hear each other well because the venue was so noisy.

Six of us went for tapas. Great food and lovely cosy atmosphere. Service was efficient and pleasant. Our stand out dishes were the red beef curry, pinto pan fried chicken and the cauliflower fritters. We ordered 8 dishes - perfect amount. Complimentary bread for dipping in sweet balsamic and olive oil arrived first. Everyone enjoyed the tempus 2 red and white wines as well as the sangria. We've been here for tapas about 5 times now and always have had an enjoyable experience

We dined for a third time. Preference was to be seated outside as there were wasps we moved indoors. Service, first class and food excellent.

The atmosphere and service were lovely, it's a bit picky but my only complaint was that the toast served with the soup was slightly burnt.
