From prairie to plate, Grazeland Bar & Grill’s modus operandi is to keep Sydney’s more carnivorous diners in mouth-watering grass-fed beef, but it’s got to be said that there’s plenty more than just steak staked out in the restaurant’s menu selection. This popular, quirky Crows Nest steakhouse, furnished with heart-shaped chairs and cow-print walls, is also a great spot to kick back with friends, a couple of shared plates (zucchini flowers stuffed with herbed ricotta, soft shell crab with chilli oil) and a couple of drinks from the well-stocked bar. Here up Alexander Street, not far from the St Leonards/Crows Nest CBD, salads, burgers, and sweets bracket the main event – glorious Victorian eye fillet, Cape Grim prime ribs, and much more meaty and maritime goodness besides.
We have been coming to the restaurant, which was called 'MU MU'. We think that the quality of steaks is a lot better than before. But the place was empty. We are so worried because we don't want to lose our favourite place where we can enjoy eating steaks.
Service was excellent. I didn't want a second full glass of wine as I was driving so the waiter gave me half a glass on the house! Friendly and attentive. Will be going back
