Gregory Hills Hotel

Nice food, but a very long time in line waiting to order the meals. Atmosphere okay, but the Australian Open finals were on at the time, but none of the tv's were playing these, this was a disappointment.

Food and atomosphere always amazing. Was a great day to spend Australia Day, everyone dressed up and caters to al age groups, a family friendly place.

We attended on Australia Day and the Aussie Lamb rolls off the spit were awesome idea. The staff are always friendly and the service is great.

the food is very nice and the service is good. i brought my friends there to try the roasted pork knuckle. everyone love it. it is worth for 45 mins drive.

Never been there before. Made a reservation. On arrival three staff were standing together talking. We didn't know which was out table and had to approach staff to ask. Maybe a name card on the table would help instead of just a reservation sign? Food was great. Even better that we were able to take uneaten pizzas home.

The steak was one of the best I've had and at a reasonable price and fast and friendly service... will definitely be back again .

Great atmosphere and service. Food is great tasting and well priced. Would recommend the pizza and ribs and the kids servings were also generous as well.

Staff were very friendly the atmosphere great choice on the menu. Great pub. Will be going back to this pub. Good to know there is a courtesy bus as well.

Our table was ready when we arrived. Got our food rather fast and was delicious. Large meals at great prices. Great atmosphere and great for the kids

It was our first time here and we were pleasantly suprised, it was was busy and vibrant with a great atmosphere. I have heard mixed reviews on the food, so was unsure about what to expect. My only issue was that I ordered a 400g sirloin steak and it was quite small, maybe the bone weighed alot. That did not take anything away from the taste of the food it was great and everyone enjoyed there meals. We would certainly go back and will do so again soon.

Lovely dinner with friends on a very hot night! Very busy and there was a long queue to order but service was great and meals delicious!

Having lived in this area for 4 years I'm more than happy that we've got such a classy establishment here. I was super impressed with the staff..the food..the atmosphere and my partner loved the craft beers. What a great place! Congratulations to everyone involved! We'll be back!

Out meals did not seem to be freshly cooked. It was as or they had been re heated. I could not cut my nephew's hamburger as it was stone cold in the middle. I would not go back unfortunately.

Food was average for the price we paid! People that take orders need to explain that you have to get your own entree plates etc!

Great location and food, even though it was very busy the service was still fast and the wait time was short. The online booking process was great!

Pork Knuckle ... mmm yum. What a great venue for live music. This is a really great family friendly place. Love the really big menu selection.

Happy with food , portion size good, great that you can book table but need more dessert options. Coffee was good too. Staff lovely and friendly. Will be back.

Beautiful venue, fantastic food and great service - just perfect!!! We will most definitely be back and perhaps next time, the pork knuckle wont defeat my husband!!!

Great environment for the kids and family. Staff are hospitable and foods great. Only thing I'd is the kids chicken nuggets. Processed chicken and not pleasurable for the kids.

Being a Sunday, we expected the bistro to be busy but with the amount of staff working in the kitchen, we figured it wouldn't take more than 30 mins for mains to arrive. Upon ordering food, we were told there was a 45 minute wait for mains but the entree should be out in about 10-15. We thought that was fine as at least we'd have the entree at a reasonable time. We got our drinks and looked forward to our entrees of wedges and cheesy fries. It took about 30 mins for our entree to arrive and then, what seemed like seconds, our mains arrived as well. This meant some of the food was going to go cold before we got to it. My meat pizza had very little flavour, which surprised me. It was very bland, no zing at all. There appeared to be no seasoning or spices and there was too much oily cheese for such a thin base. Perhaps the volume of cheese had absorbed some of the meat flavour. My son's parmigiana was only topped with cheese, there was no tomato sauce. He said it tasted awful. He also said his cheesy fries didn't taste very nice either. Perhaps a different brand of cheese would be better? My husband said his schnitzel was tasteless as well. These are foods we order at other eateries regularly as we love them but we will unfortunately will not be ordering them here again, which is a shame as we were looking forward to this hotel becoming our local as we like atmosphere and like being able to see live music whilst we're having a bite to eat. The burgers we ate there some time ago were great but the recent food wasn't. It made us wonder if anyone was actually tasting it to see that it had flavour. Also, perhaps there should be one person responsible for getting out the entrees. A plate of chips or wedges should not take 30 mins, no matter how busy the venue. The kitchen seemed very disorganised. Sorry for the long rant but it's not often all 3 of us are disappointed in our meal and I've only written because I believe the venue has great potential to be as successful as some of the places we trek to in the Eastern Suburbs.

Nice place, clean tidy and friendly atmosphere. Modern facility. Warm inside on a cold night. Prices were reasonable and friendly staff. Overall I would come back.

Very clean, meals were great & the atmosphere was excellent. It took no time for meals to arrive, they were hot and the six of us got them all at the same time.

The kids play area is a great addition but needs more lighting particularly at night. There was no hostess to greet us when we arrived so we had no idea where our table was and the girl behind the counter who was taking food orders wasn't interested in helping us. Apart from that the food was good, décor was great.

Food and service was great. The cocktails were not so great the guy making them was not so experienced and It would be great if the cocktail list had more variety.

Nice place clean good staff yummy food good beer planty car space music alive good for families or groups big place. Also yesterday for father day give me complemantary beer nice for the hotel recomended this place big plates.

Always a great experience, the atmosphere and service is always spot on. Love spending family time is such a relaxing and inviting space. Staff are attentive and always friendly and willing to assist.

We frequent GHH quite often and always feel there is a great crowd of people. Another great service and lovely meal and staff very friendly as always.

It was a great night with fast service of food. Duck spring rolls are always on point though the burger meat was very dry and not pleasant to eat.

Food was good and served in a reasonable time - even with a group of 12. Seating was comfortable, atmosphere was relaxed and beer was cold.
