With its stylish decor complete with exposed brick walls and industrial-chic touches, Hangar 1one2 is the go-to gathering spot for Altona locals, the perfect setting for catching up with friends over some coffee, or for a leisurely lunch. On the menu you’ll find modern Australian favourites, with something to suit all tastes and dietary requirements, from all-day breakfast options like smashed avocado on toast with poached eggs, feta and spiced nuts, to small plates such as the housemade falafel, an array of freshly-prepared sandwiches and larger mains like the zucchini fritters and cajun chicken burger, as well as cakes and desserts. Located on Pier Street, Melbourne’s Hangar 1one2 is a popular choice, so making a reservation in advance is recommended.
It was good however I think maybe they could change up the menu a little as the haloumi chips and corn chips had the same ingredients. In saying that it was tasty. I normally have the fish taco but I have to say today it wasn’t good. The fish was too crumbed, dry and tasteless. It wasn’t worth $8 that’s for sure. I would rate that a 1😞. The sangria is to die for. Overall, we love the place, we love the owners, we go there practically 6 out of 7 days sometimes twice a day because they have the most amazing menu.
Great food, fast and excellent service! The cheese and potato croquettes are amazing and the haloumi chips are to die for. Do yourself a favour and book in for next Friday night!!
Never leave this place disappointed. Great choice for brunch but Friday night Mexican dinners are delicious and fresh. Well worth the visit at any time of day.
