The roast lamb I had was quite chewy not the tenderest, potaoes and vegetables were sufficient, my wife had garlic prawns with chips eventually getting her order after a mix up with the meal, she enjoyed her meal.All in all I would give Hanks 6 out of 10

Never been to hanks bar. Both my husband and I were recommended by a friend. My husband and I ordered the Angus steak, was cook to perfection, the staff were friendly and helpful the prices very reasonable.

Wasnt too busy so was very good wait times. Quite a few tables in restaurant which would make it hard to move around when busy. Excellent staff and service. Very good night.

3 of the 6 people at my table ordered the seniors fish plate and they all complained about the fish everyone of them left it on the plate.

We were 2 couples and all of us enjoyed a pleasant evening. 3 of us ordered the Sunday roast which was very nice and good value, whilst the other had the beef and guiness pastie which was equally good.

Food was amazing. Service was good. Atmosphere was a bit too loud.

Had a great night with the family. Service was great, food was delicious. Karaoke was fun to observe. Hoping to go back again soon.

Great service and food, but no pensioner menu, as you get older you tend to eat less, so how about putting on seniors menu in the evenings.

I ordered the seafood plate off the seniors menu and it was excellent and value for money

Waited too long to be told where our booked table was. Clearly no dress standards at all. Family orientated place with plenty of under dressed patrons. Not a good look. Food average. Service mediocre.

Noise levels were high … but I’m old and didn’t realize there was a quiz night on Tuesday night :) Wasn’t a deal breaker I’m just guessing a little noisier having dinner :) Fabulous meal thanks

Lovely Pub food staff were great very polite and was good to see them cleaning down tables and clearing plates when finished overall lovely place clean could do with some lively atmosphere music wise but we will definetly be back 5 beautiful meals were served and eaten by us .... Staff shortage was evident but staff on duty were working very hard not to keep people waiting too long. Staff very friendly and all had a smile for guests and collected used plates and cutlery expeditiously when meal finished. Would not hesitate to return in the future.

I am a hard working Dad who has 5 children and Hanks is a great place we love to visit at least once a week for the on going weekly specials ,Always been a great spot for us to all hang out and enjoy Great food at affordable prices for families.. me and my wife are grateful to have a local Like Hanks around the corner from us..
