Great dining experience- food was brought out quickly, friendly staff and most importantly, everything was delicious! Highly recommend.

We visited for a birthday dinner. The service was really good and the food came out very quickly. They were happy to remove and add ingredients to the meals which was great, especially for the kids. The food was good and everyone enjoyed their meal.

First time visit, food was great, margarita was great, server was great. Food was impressively quick for how busy it was too. Thoroughly enjoyed!

Family favourite to have on a Sunday when our adult kids meet us for a meal and catch up. Service was friendly. Food was nice. Dessert (brownies) are exceptional)

Staff seemed rushed off their feet, although there wasn't that many customers dinning in. Because of this staff weren't overall attentive, no one explained the menu or offered specials. The food was amazing and extremely quick to come out. Customer service just let down the experience.

Terrible service, very bad experience especially for a birthday party

One of the workers sang Happy Birthday for my husband on his bday & the vegan food was incredible. The drinks were fantastic too! Thanks for a great experience!

The food was okay, but nothing to write home about. The service was terrible, we felt extremely rushed from the moment we got there. I was even asked what I wanted for dessert while I was still eating mains. They forgot one of our drinks. We only had one serviette between the two of us. And the guy at the register had no idea how money worked and didn't give me the correct change back when I paid cash. Sorry but not going to be coming back.

Food and drinks tasted good. Advertised was a deal to purchase two margaritas and receive free guacamole and chips, which was not received, but otherwise good

We booked a table for 10 people and were presented with a table for 8 even after emailing and confirming booking with restaurant.

We are regular customers and usually enjoy a splendid meal. This time one order of large nachos arrived with what appeared to be drained kidney beans, no salsa, and no garnish. We politely requested that the order be completed, and a cursory attempt was made by the restaurant. This was disappointing, to say the least. We had guests with us and hoped to impress.

Restaurant sadly SO quiet but all the more attention for our table. Amazing food, great drinks, top notch service with a smile and banter for the kids. Always a fave family dining spot for us!

Food tasty, only 2 working front of house, one worker fault-less the other wasn’t very efficient, even brought us the wrong meal - ordered a wine in the middle of entree, it arrived as we were ready to pay the bill. All our entrees and mains were packed with flavours, just don’t think you need mango on a beef taco! That was weird for us! Only one big table present on arrival but their noise pushed us to move to front seating looking out window on the street

Very happy with our meal and the staff were very attentive. Meals were very filling, so much so not enough room for dessert 😔which looked yummy. Had the Mexican Parma, was just the right size and the chips were cooked to perfection. Would definitely return, need to work our way through the menu

Food was tasty,service was good. Booked for my birthday didn't recieve my choice of tequila shot or churros, that was a bit dissapointing. What's the chances I get a voucher for my next visit??

Staff seemed inexperienced somehow pushy while also slow (side note 2 out of 3 staff I saw were wearing trackies... At least one of the 2 wearing trackies they were well fitting, the second not so much) somehow lacking in atmosphere which is surprisingly

Good service, lovely staff. Food lovely nice and spicy but the paella was swimming in oil. It would.of had 2 to 3 table spoons sitting on the bottom. Overall enjoyed the burrito and paella

Celebrating my birthday at Hencho En Mexico was initially promising. The friendly and attentive waitress made me feel welcome, but the restaurant was understaffed, which unfortunately impacted the overall experience.

Food was very deliciious. Will definately be back for more.

The service was lacking any warmth or enthusiasm, and the fajitas were tough. We were somewhat disappointed after being very excited to dine there.

Lot of potential which we (Michael & I) discussed with the host for promoting the restaruant (e.g. participating in the Ballarat International Foto Biennale (see https://ballaratfoto.org/, being a live music venue, contactig Probus to being one of theire eacting out venues, being out for events sucha as the Ballarat Cycling Classic (https://ballaratcycleclassic.com.au/), contacting local City Councillor re more events to attract people to the city and more.

The portion sizes were super small, the seasoning weak and the food overpriced.

Wrong drink delivered and when questioned told I was wrong. Receipt showed I was correct. No offer to resolve issue.

Efficient serving and fantastic food washed down with a refreshing mojito !

My son loved dining there. I'll have to make a booking for me & my husband.
